This is the one Frances gave me this weekend:
Here's one I made:
And another:
And another:
(1) Purse Bottom in solid CS: 7" x 4-1/2". Score on the 7" side 1-1/2", 5-1/2". On the 4-1/2" side, score 1-1/2", 3"
(2) Pirse Strap in sold CS: 3/4" x 11:
(1) Purse Pocket in DSP 2" x 2-1/2"
(1) Purse Pocket in DSP 2" x 2-1/2"
(1) Purse Body in DSP 3-1/2" x 12". On the 12 side, score 1-1/2", 5-1/2", 7", 11"
Apply sticky tape to 3 sides of the front pocket. Place 3/4" from the bottom edge, centered between the scored lines (see pink arrows):
Apply 2" long sticky tape to each end of the straps. Remove back of sticky tape, place 1" from the bottom edge. Repeat for the other side.
Apply sticky tape to the purse bottom. In this photo, I have used 2 sizes of sticky tape. Remove the backing of the wider sticky tape to assemble the box bottom. The narrower sticky tape is used to attach the purse DSP body to the bottom.
Remove the narrower sticky tape back, then attach the purse body. Use a bone folder to burnish.
Optional embellishment: Punch a 5 Petal flower in Old Olive CS with a die cut Island flower+gold brad. Attach to leaf (5 petal flower) using a mini glue dot. Punch a hole in the leaf using the crop-o-dile. String through a metal chain. Project is finished.................easy!!!
Supplies used:
- Stamps: none
- CS: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Tropical Island DSP
- Ink: none
- Accys; SU Exclusive Big Shot Island Floral Die, 5 Petal Flower Punch, Crop-o-dile, Silver Brad, Mini Glue Dot, sticky tape
