Happy Belated Steampunk Birthday Mini Book

This is a belated birthday posting with a Halloween theme using the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells Collection found here. A birthday card and a mini book was the perfect project for a friend who is fond of the Steampunk theme.
The birthday card was made with some of the left over papers used in the mini book: The Book of Spells. Only a little fussy cutting with some foam squares for this card.
Add some Glossy Accents to the watch she is wearing for some dimension.  Some Smooch in yellow is added to the gear necklace and on her wings.
Card inside: Stamped message is from Stampin-Up On Your Birthday (very old stamp).
Now for the mini book.  This book style was previously posted on here.  This is another version using different papers.
Add some Smooch in Yellow for subtle shine:

Gorgeous Holiday Card and a Waterfall Album

On the second day of the retreat we made this wonderful and gorgeous Holiday Card using the image from Christmas Ornament Marci found here.I absolutely LOVE the colors in this card and the colors used for Marci, too.  They are festive and "yummy". My absolute favorite colors!!!! Card size is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2".  Embellishments used on the card are from the Frames and Shapes on line Store at La-la Land Crafts found here. Additional dies used are the Open Leaf Flourish Die and the Pretty Poinsettia Die which all can be found here.
 A closer look at Christmas Ornament Marci (as a Brunette);
I fell in love with my newest embellishment tool: Viva Gold Pearl Pen used on the Poinsettia centers and berries.
See the Viva Gold Pearl Pen used here, too:
Card inside is great, too:don't you just love all that great layering?

This Heart Key Marci Waterfall Album was a wonderful project as a class by Design Team Leader Debbie (her blog here). I absolutely LOVE the paper used for this project.  Dies used for this project include: Open Leaf Flourish Die, Rolled Rose Small and Medium Die, and Decorative Corners Die which all can be found here. Finished album is 5-1/2" x 5" x 1/2" Heart Key Marci was originally suppose to have Blonde hair but since I am a Brunette - she got to be in the Brunette club, too.
A closer look at Heart Key Marci:
For the key - I used the Sakura Crystal Gel pen around the edges.
And, I absolutely love the idea of having glass glitter in the center of the Rolled Roses. Way to go, Debbie - LOVE this idea..............THANK YOU for the inspiration!
Inside: some of the page layouts. With the extra cut paper pieces, "use it or lose it", right? So this is how I used them on these pages. I added a panel for a separate mat that can be slipped underneath.
You can also see the pocket made with a separate mat tucked in the pocket.
Because these pages were sort of a solid shade of brown, Floral card stock was layered and tucked on each side along with a strip in the front which can also hold additional mats, too.
Open each side to reveal...............................
Not finished yet: I still had a smalls trip with some lace: made another pocket and a floral mat:
Thank you, Debbie for this fun project!!!!

The third project being posted today is a Halloween Treat bag (it should have posted it on Halloween.......sorry about that): Bag size is 4" x 5-1/4" x 1-1/2".  Dies used for this bag are: Pumpkins die, Spider Web Boarder Die, Spooky House Die, and Eerie Bats Die which all can be found here.
Here's a side view (where the treats are suppose to be):
See the Spooky House? I sponged it with some white ink and also used a white gel pen to accent the house shape. And don't you just love the "gauze" as an embellishment?
Pumpkins are sponged with some Ranger Vintage Photo Ink. Spiderweb Boarder is also sponged with some white ink, too
The Eerie Bats are randomly flying around the sponged moon. The orange seam binding was spritzed with water, then crumpled and allowed to dry.
Now tom will be the last project from the retreat................seeing the finish line.................so stay tuned.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN....................
This card was not from the first day of the La-la Land Retreat but because it is Halloween today, I need to post this fabulous project designed by Irina. Cauldron Witch Marci stamp image can be found here. Dies used from La-la Land are: Spider Web Boarder die, Creepy Vines die, Eerie Bats die, Open Leaf die, Pumpkins, Spider Web Corner, Heart Tree die, Scary Tree die, Stitched Scallops Boarder, Frightful Fence, Heart Doily Boarder die, and Book Tab and Labels die............all can be found here.  Finished card size is 7-1/2" x 7". I believe the paper used for this cars is from Authentique.  Lots of details to enjoy in this card:
Here's some close-up of the card details: Marci's original hair color was shades of green - I love RED so she got red color hair. All other colors followed the recommended Copics to be used.
Stamped message is part of the Cauldron Witch Marci:
Pumpkin eyes have dimension by using Viva Black Pearl Pens..............don't you just love it? .Pop those pumpkins up with foam squares. I also added some brown lines using a Copic pen
The spooky tree is stamped with a wood grain stamp and Distress Vintage Photo Ink. Note the eyes are also using Viva Black Pearl Pen.
Here's a side view of the card:
Here's a overhead view on this unique card style:
So are you ready?  Want to see the  INSIDE, yup, the inside of the card?  No Kidding.......flip the front up to reveal.............that cool spider web corner die along with the bat and Book Tab die:
Back of the card: cute, eh?  Such a nice touch............adds soooo much more to this special card!  I love it..........I left the center of the label blank so I can hand write either the year or my name.   This a great way to finish any card!!!
So do you think this is the very BEST Halloween card ever?

Eek Treat Bag

This is a fun Halloween treat: It is a SVG cut file from My Scrap Chick: Halloween Treat Bag Toppers and Cards found here. Stamped images are from Jaded Blossom new release for this year: Too Cute to Spook..........crazy cute and can be purchased here.  I love that they can be positioned on to Hershey Kisses OR Rolo Chocolates.  After coloring each image (optional but aren't they ever sooooo cute when they are colroed?), they are easily punched out using a 3/4" circle punch..........whoo - hoo so cute!!!! And, paper scraps used to make this whole treat holder!!!!
Here they all are in the small treat bag:
Message stamped in the back is part of the Too Cute to Spook stamp set.................
Ooops, I decided to add a spooky spider ( I have so many of these!) to the topper:
So all you need to do is stamp the images (I used Momento Black) and color them in your favorite colors. I used my Copics. I also added some Glossy Accents to the eyes so they "pop" - let them dry, then punch them out using a 3/4" circle punch - adhere with a mini glue dot to the bottom of your choice of chocolates. Cute, eh?
And, be sure to check out the other stamp sets from Jaded Blossom with fun candy messages..............they are so fun to give and receive.
