Marci with Lantern LED Pagoda Card

After all these years, I thought maybe Blogger would be more user friendly. I had made notes on this scheduled blog with detail how this card was created it but for some reason, the information became lost and my memory will have to suffice.

The La-la Land Crafts Marci with Lantern Digital Image found here. She is printed and cut to 3-1/2" size. Finished card size is 6" x 6-1/2". The cut file Soring Blossoms from SVGcuts.com was used to create the front of the pagoda.  The  original cut file and video can be found here. To make this card, the cut file was altered.  Added is the circle "door way" with a brown card stock offset. The front fence was adjusted to fit the width of the card.  The "second level with windows" was also eliminated in the file. The top roof simply sits on the larger roof but is still 3D as the original card. Paper used is from Crate Paper, their Pink Plum Collection (retired), Brown and Pink card stock is from Bazzil.
A closer look at Marci with Lantern:
Copic colors used:
Hair: W2, W4, W6, W8
Face: E000, E00, E01, R11, R20
Lantern: 2 shades of yellow
Dress, Shoes: Scanned and cut out.
And, here is a look at that fence:
The lantern has a LED Light behind it. Researching on You Tube for the instructions was quite a change. The LED Light can be purchased on line. I did not use the copper tape as many recommended. Instead, regular household aluminum foil cut and adhered to the card stock using sticky tape worked fine. The technique to do this is quite tricky but result are great!  So please try it.
Here is the roof detail:
Card inside: created using the internal offset button twice on the Silhouette. One offset was cut using Brown Card Stock and the second one is using white card stock.

The custom made envelope: The "E" is die cut using the Sizzix Bigz Alphabet Die. Add a strip of decorative paper at the bottom of the envelope.
Envelope back: close using a sticker from the Crate Paper Pink Plum Paper Collection
The underside of the flap is decorated, too.  Card inside is encased with vellum to protect it.
