Made this baby album for a newborn girl. The base of this project kit is from Stampin-Up. Many years ago this chipboard album kit was available to assemble and decorate. Kits have been retired for a while. My own stash has now whittled down to a few kits left to make for special occasions. Packaged with a clear cello bag and tied with a baby tag (from my stash) makes it a pretty gift for the parents.
Finished album size is 5" x 4-1/8" x 1-1/4". Darice ABC's Embossing folder used for the front shape. Both nesting shapes were cut using images from the Silhouette on line store. Stampin-Up and Word Window Punch used for the spinner "track".
See the pacifier roll toward the left when the album box is tilted? It used by adhering two pennies along with foam squares to help it roll.
Side view of album with Charms hanging from 1/8" White Satin Ribbon.
On the cover the Onesies were cut using the Silhouette, then popped with foam squares. Name "Mia" is cut using the Silhouette computer program, then popped with foam squares.

Baby Boy Mini Album
Another baby album. They are always fun to make. This one is a for a boy - it seems Girl Baby albums out number the Boy ones. These "Bitty Books" were only available at one time through Stampin-Up. Unfortunately, this product has been retired for many years. I have been saving my stash to use sparingly for special occasions.
The card to match: Stamped message is using Stampin-Up Close to Cocoa ink and the Stampin-Up By Ones & By Two stamp set. Paper is Stampin-Up Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Lighter shade of Brown is from Joann's Fabric Store's pack.
Inside message is a simple Congratulations with the colorful mats like the front. The hand cut lion is from the Best Creations Safari Boy Paper Collection.
The Best Creations Safari Boy paper is so great, I decided to keep the Album case a bit simple. The mats are cut from a Stampin-Up Framelits Label Collection but I did have to hand cut the Bashful Blue mat which is in between the Chocolate Chip and the Best Creations Safari Boy Paper........oh well. It wasn't THAT bad. Then, all three layers are popped with foam squares.
Here is the album and the Case:
The "Xander" is made using SCAL text is Lobster 2 - it is welded to make one continuous image and a shadow in Chocolate Chip was made. The Lion is cut from Best Creations Safari Boy scraps, then popped with a foam square.
On the album cover, the words Memories is an image from the Silhouette on line store. I made an off set shadow at to go with it.
And, of course some great charms (they can be found at your local craft store) to go with this Mini hung using Brown Embroidery Floss. Add a little Glossy Accents on the knot to prevent it from coming loose.
Album inside: There are 10 insert pages with mats in Stampin-Up Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip. Some of the mats have the Best Creations Safari Boy images.

Baby Girl Bitty Book Album
Time to make another little "Bitty Book" for a baby girl. This one is for a great friend's grand daughter. These "Bitty Books" were only available at one time through Stampin Up. Unfortunately, this product has been retired for many years. I have been saving mine to use sparingly for special occasions. This is one of those occasions. So, of course, Pink has the be the color. I happen to also have some left over paper from the Stampin Up Rock a Bye Girl Scrapbook Collection from many years ago. Using this collection for this album was perfect. The project required only one sheet of 12x12of the pattern paper. Then a selection of various shades of Pink from my stash worked out great. The center of the case is cut from the invitation received in the mail using one of the Nestibility Ovals. A Sakura Crystal Gel pen is used around many of the cut images for some sparkle.
I finally get to use my Nestibilities - Yay!!!! Having SCAL and the Silhouette these days, I rarely reach for my Nestibilities but I want that embossed look along the edges. The Oval and Scallop Oval Nestibilities were used for the album case.
The baby banner is a cut file from the on line Silhouette Store. It is also popped up with foam squares.
Card inside: a Sakura Crystal Gel pen is used around the diaper pin. Stamped message is from Hero Arts.
A nice ensemble gift for a new grandchild.............thank you for coming by to visit and a happy crafty day to you.

Those cute little Mary Jane shoes and Diaper Pin are cut files from the SVGcuts.com Collection called Bundle of Joy and can be found here. Both are popped up with foam squares. Note the small adhesive rhinestone on each shoe.
I love the spine charms - Silver elastic cord is strung and knotted - Glossy Accents was used on the ends to prevent fraying.
Outside Mini Album has two diaper pins, edged with the Sakura Crystal gel Pen around it for some bling.
Inside front and back covers are using the paper along the edge. The scalloped edge is a EK Success Punch. Paper used is the reverse side of the heart Stampin Up Paper. The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug called Numbers Collage.
Now let's go over the card: the onesie cut file is from QuillingPatch.com - resized to fit the card , then embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots. The "K" is cut using SCAL. Add a 3/8" wide Organdy ribbon to the onesie neckline using a mini glue dot. A Sakura Crystal Gel pen is used around many of the cut images for some sparkle.Card inside: a Sakura Crystal Gel pen is used around the diaper pin. Stamped message is from Hero Arts.

Onesie Party Favors
Updated 6/16/13: see below in red
A quick and easy party favor for the family. I made 28 of these. Finished size of this treat is 3-1/4" x 3-1/2" x 1-1/4" and will hold (1) individually wrapped Madeline cookie and (1) Ghiradelli Chocolate Square. Since we did not know if she was having a boy or girl: pastel colors are chosen in Lavender (Recollection's Purples), Yellow (SU Barely Banana), Light Green (SU Certainly Celery) Memento Black ink and Hero Arts Stamp & Cut Onesie. Th cute little punch and embossed teddy bear is a Martha Stewart Punch that is popped with foam squares and embellished with 1/8" satin ribbon..................fun to tie a bow so small. The bows are attached using Glossy Accents.
Here's the treats in the box: yummy
A closer look at the lavender one: each onesie is embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. Base of the treat box is Recollection Vanilla card stock.
The Lt. green one:
The Lt Yellow one:
Back of the treat box: Computer font used is "Lobster 2" and a Marvy punched baby bottle
To make the box (middle section): here's a side view photo. Cut a strip of card stock 2-1/4" wide x 7-1/4" long. On the 7-1/4" side, score 2-1/2", 4-3/4". Rotate paper, then score on the 2-1/4" side 1/2" , 1-3/4". You will need to cut slits at the 2-1/2" score line to make a "u" shape for the box. Apply tape or glue to the 1/2" sections. Attach the onesie to the "u" shape.
A look at the Hero Arts "Stamp and Cut Onesie " Set used:
Updated 6/16/13: note the stamp+ die was purchased from a recent warehouse sale at Hero Arts. It was made exclusively for Archiver's.

Is it a Boy or is it a Girl Wobble card?
We don't know if it is a boy or girl so a generic baby card needs to be made. I chose a SVG cut file from SVGcuts.com: Bundle of Joy SVG Collection. The svg cut file is actually a tote bag. I only used the front to make this card. Card base is SU Certainly Celery. Then SU So Saffron, then printed paper. The printed paper is from Pressed Petals Assorted Papers (got this inexpensive pack from Ross Stores). For the rocking part of the horse, a Woodgrain embrossing folder from Paper Chase (Hobby Lobby brand) was used. For the mane and tail, a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder was used. Edges are inked with brown ink.
Guess what? I turned this into a card that uses the wobble!!!!! LOVE it!!! See it in action?
I also decided to add a charm on the card spine. These can be easily found at Michael's Craft Store. Luckily I had some matching embroidery floss, too.
Card inside: "congrats" made using my SCAL - so easy to do. Inside mat is the same as outside.

Baby Bitty Book Album
OK - yet another album...........I seem to be making a whole bunch of these lately and still loving each one of them. This one is actually for Grandmother Gene! I believe she is quite busy and won't have time to be searching through my blog (I hope). I know she will enjoy this gift!

Spine with football beads:

Back album cover:

The front has the most detail: Two mats are popped with dimensionals. The the embossed Bashful Blue Mat is embossed with a Cuttlebug Dot folder, Diamond Dust Stickles applied to the dots, then leftover strips are added before the name (cut with Provotcraft Designer's Calendar Cricut cartridge at 1" high). Adhere the letters with Tombow glue. The lion is cut suing the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge cut 1-1/4" high in Chocolate Chip and Creamy Caramel paper, then popped with dimensionals. so cute!!!

Take out the album to reveal a book for memories (stamp set is from "The Best Things in Life" by Melanie Muenchinger/Gina K Designs http://www.ginakdesigns.com/):

Inside album pages have an embossed alphabet texture, along with strips of left over paper from the album cover and album. Use those scraps!

Here are the inside photo inserts: each page insert has the individual images from Best Creation Safari Boy paper. The insert backs can also be used for journaling, too.
