Day 2 LLC Retreat Summer Babi Marci Tag Album

Welcome to Day 2 Project 1: This is a tag album using the image from La-la Land Crafts Baby Marci Stamp.  All papers used for this project were supplied at the retreat. Stamp and dies can be found on the La-la Land Crafts on line store.  This project was designed by Mindy Beverly - her blog can be found here. Products used are Water Ripples Layering Stencil Set. Dies used: Curved Pocket Die, Curved Tags Die and Stitched Bested Circles. Project finished size: 3"x4"x 1/4".

To make the small stitched circle sky and ground, Washi tape was used to mask off the horizon to blend Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. Spritz ground section of the circle with water. Finish project bya dding adhesive pearls.
Summer Baby Copic colors used: 
Hair: W2, W4, W6
Face: E00, E01, E02, E11, R11, R20, R21
Hat, Dress, Shoes: B00, B05, B12, C1, C3, B00, Y00, Y00, Y06, Y11 and White Gel pen.
 Front , spine and back of album:
Inside front and back covers are created using the Water Ripples Layering Stencil.  Ink colors are Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.
Slanted pockets and Die Cut Sea Shells are lightly sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges. Tags are removable:
Use a Crop-o-dile to punch the holes on the spine, securing the pages together. Thread colored embroidery floss through the holes

Year of the Pig Card

A quick post: Made this A2 Card to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the  Pig.  Used Hello Kitty Sizzix Die (retired) and hand punched parts to make parts of the Pig. Papers used are from my stash.  Cuttlebug Embossing folder: Asia Collection used.Card b aseis Gold cards tock.
 A closer look at the Hello Kitty Pig: use a white gel pen to highlight the eyes.
 Gold Screen, Firecracker, and Kanji characters are dies purchased from Ali Express. Add gold adhesive rhinestones for a little shine to the corners of the screen.

Day 1 LLCRetreat - World Marci Tag Mini Album


Last project for Day 1: This project design by Irina Blount (owner and Designer for La-la Land Crafts).  This project uses die cut tags to make an album.  All papers used were supplied at the retreat.  Original project front cover used the Build - a - Unicorn die from the new release for the cover. My version is a travel theme using the World Marci rubber stamp.  All stamps and dies can be purchased on the La-la Land Crafts on line store.  Project size is 4" x 5-1/2" x 1-1/2". 
Front and back cover: Largest size of the Tag die used.  It is die cut using chipboard n decorative paper.  The Stitched Circle die is cut in half peeking out of the double mats. Pop this whole section with foam tape. Heart Globe die cut in chipboard, then in Kraft card stock.  Ink the edges with Vintage Photo ink.  Pop with foam tape. World Border die cut in chipboard, then in Kraft card stock.  Ink the edges with Vintage Photo ink.  Pop with foam tape.
Dies used for the spine: Keyhole die cut in Kraft card stock attached using gold brads on top of the popped rectangular dies from the Curved Pocket die set.

Day 1 LLC Retreat - Enchanting Marci Easel Card

Martha Tucker designed this project for the retreat. Her blog can be found here.  The basic design was kept except for the card stock colors are from my paper stash.  Card size is 5-1/2" wide x 6" high. Stamped image is Enchanting Marci.  Dies used for this project: Large Stitched Tags, Curved Pocket, Stitched Bow, Stitched Nested Circles, Stitched Elements (stars), Cameo Frame.

Day 1 LLC Retreat - Princess Tiered Jewelry Box

Project designed by Mindy Beverly, her blog can be found here. Papers used are from different from the original design as well as the image. The top box is attached to the bottom box.  Stamps used: La-la Land Magical Day Set (includes the smaller size Renaissance Marci and Unicorn as part of Club La-la Land), Once Upon a Time Background.
Dies used: Castle Border die, Build a House, Spring Blossoms, Castle, Cloud Border, Nested Frames Large and Small, and Shooting Stars.  
Top Box details:
Top box measures 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 1-1/2".  Lid decorative paper is American Crafts Cloud paper. Large Nested Frame is die cut using white card stock. Smaller Nested Frame is die cut using the American Crafts Cloud paper. Die cut Cloud Border is lightly inked with Tumbled Glass on all the edges. 
House details:
Die cut using Kraft card stock. Roof and window is die cut using Chocolate card stock. Vellum is added behind the window. Use a white gel pen on each pane to highlight the window.  House itself is stamped using Vintage Photo ink using the Once Upon a Time Background stamp.
Flowers: Copic coloring using RV10, R83, R85 + an adhesive pearl for the center. Flowers are a foam material so give it a shot of heat from the heat gun will curl the edges upwards.

Bottom box measures 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" x 1-1/2". DCWV Grass decorative paper on the lid and on box platform.  Die cut Cloud Border (sponged with Tumbled Glass on the edges) on the edges on the lid.

Trim and pop with foam squares on top of the house.
Castle die cut on each side of the house. Castle is colored using Copics: E27, E49, E59, E77. Vellum is added behind the window. A white gel pen highlights each window pane.
Top box details inside: 
Lift lid to reveal: Edges of the frame is lightly sponged using Vintage Walnut ink.  Inside papers are stamped using the Once Upon a Time Background stamp using Vintage Photo ink.
 Stamped message on the Nested Frame.
Bottom box inside:
Lift the lid to reveal:  Die cut Cloud Border and die cut Castle Border popped with foam squares along with stamped Unicorn image.  Inside side papers are stamped using the Once Upon a Time Background stamp using Vintage Photo ink.
Unicorn Copic colors: E40, E42, RV10, R83, R85 + a white gel pen used on the mane and tail.
 Box bottom  is Echo Park Wish Upon a Star castle stencil using Vintage Photo ink.
