Asian Tag Book

This is a tag book I enjoyed making: it's RED - surprise! This tag book holds (Lucky) 8 tags inside. The finished measurement for this project is 2-5/8" x 5-1/2" x 1".

Remove the band: words "Friend" exposed. Words are embossed in Gold and framed in Naturals Ivory and Black.

Front view: eight tags inside

Overview:

Back is stamped and stippled using black ink. The Stipple Brush has retired so a subsitute to get the same effect is using a Stamping Sponge. I use my Stipple Brush because it is handy.

Side view:

Here's a close-up of the tags in side (details further below):

Tag holder stamped with the same flowers using Black Ink. Stipple brush used with Black ink randomly spaced. Stamp, emboss Gold coin: punch out the center with 1/4" square punch, then punch out with 1-1/4" circle punch. Attach with dimensionals.

The tags: Stamp the flowers along the top, sponge the tag with Gold Encore Ink. Thread Gold Organdy Ribbon through hole. Write a note, wishes, or attach a small photo..........
Here's what is needed to make this project:
(1) 8-1/2" x 11" Real Red CS: score on the 11" side 2-5/8" sections. There should be 4 of them. Turn paper to score and create the pocket: 3"
(1) 8-1/2" x 10-1/2" in Real Red CS. Score as above piece.
(8) 2-1/4" x 5" Naturals Ivory Tags
(1) 2-1/4" x 8" Black CS for the Belly Band
(1) 2" x 8" Naturals Ivory layering for the Belly Band

Hi Patti...cute project! I'm not understanding how the 8-1/2 x 11 piece is attached to the 8-1/2 x 10-1/2 piece. Could you explain?
Thanks!
