The Chinese New Year "official" celebration ended this past weekend. It was the only time my favorite gal pals and I finally got a chance to get together and one of them: Gail M (sorry - she doesn't have a blog yet) presented me with a Chinese New Year traditional gift of oranges, tangerines, Lucky money and candy. She also made a fortune cookie and enclosed the panda shown. So cute!!! She is so talented but shy!
See the panda close up holding a orange? Size is 4" x 4"
Surprise: the back of the panda is a candy container. The Asian word is: Prosperity. The box size is 2" x 2-1/2" x 1/2".
And, here is the fortune cookie: it's made from red glycerine soap. Cool, eh?
More fun Asian stuff coming so stay tuned..........................hugs!!!
