Ghost Halloween House

Here's the 3rd Halloween house...............using those retired Halloween stamps works for me!!! So get them out of retirement........this is the time! Cuz it's only once a year! This one is different from the two other Halloween houses previously posted. The photos had to be taken on a black back drop, otherwise the ghosts wouldn't show up at all......

Ghosts flying above the roof. hmmmm....now how did I attach the message? when the chimney is on the other side of the roof? Use a piercer through the roof, bend wire, secure with mini glue dot, then attach roof to lid. "Happy Halloween" message is attached to the wire, another piece of Old Olive conceals the wires.

Roof top front:

Front Bottom:
This time, the door is on the left side of the house and crooked in shape.

Right side:
Use a Stampin' Write Pen to randomly make cracks around the house. Tuck the tombstone and pumpkins behind the "ground".

Back Roof:

Back:

Left side:

With the lid off..............

After embossing the roof pieces, ink the edges using Lovely Lilac (retired) ink. Black was also used on top of the Lovely Lilac. Punch a decorative edge, sponge edges, attach to roof using sticky tape.

Sponge edges on the house using Old olive ink:

To make the "ground" and Window Frames:
The "ground" was made by tearing a strip of Close to Cocoa CS (retired), roughed and sponged

A 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Close to Cocoa CS is enough for all the windows. Ink the Texturz plate to get the wood look.

The window frames are cut into 3/8" widths and random lengths. Each piece of the window frame is attached using mini glue dots. The Whisper White windows are cut after the frames are arranged. Stamp the web on each window prior to attaching to the frame.

Stamp images and color using Aqua Painters in various colors. Cut out, apply dimensionals, then adhere to house.

Use 22 gauge Black wire, curl around a pencil to create the holders for the ghosts.

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Spooktacular Greetings (retired), Wicked Cool, Spooky-Creepy-Treats (non SU)
  • CS: Lovely Lilac (retired), Old Olive, Close to Cocoa (retired), Whisper White
  • Ink: Close to Cocoa (retired), Lovely Lilac (retired), Black, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Basic Grey
  • Accys: Big Shot Texturz Plate #4, Stampin' Daubers, 1" Circle Punch, Aqua Painter, Stampin' Write Blush Blossom-Black-Real Red pens, Sticky Tape, Dimensionals, Piercer, Mini Glue Dots, Decorative edge punch (non SU), Circle Embossing Folder (non SU).

Thank you for stopping by today.....................

I love the way you are doing your houses!! I ended up buying the pattern. I do have a question.. Do you trace each house or print it on the card stock. I tried running it threw my printer but the SU carstock is to thick.. It takes forever to trace and score!! You are the most, and I mean MOST talented person out there!!!!!!!!
