More Fun Events

All the cards below are examples from another Demonstrator get together this past weekend. The creations are highly inspiring.

The above card WON for the best idea (made by Sharon). The background is using the Big Shot texture plates BUT first putting the ink on the plate and running it through gives such a great texture and color. I decided to used flat back pearls instead of knotted ribbon centers.

The above Left card is Retro: Hard to tell but the cups are stamped and then stamped again separately, cut out, and placed on top using a dimensional to give it that 3- D look.
The above right card is clever: centers of the flowers are Popped out with a dimensional. This is a great quick note when you are in a rush!
The above left card is using the fabulous new textured paper and Big Shot embosslits and Rhinestone brads. What's cool about this card? It opens up along the scallop edge and is held closed with the Blue Flower - clever, eh?
The above right card has glitter on the slipper and on the "dots" - hmmm, doesn't show up in the photo. There is also sponging on the whisper white edges.

The above tri-fold card uses the Square scallop punch for the "opening". Darn: the textured plate were used but the subtly doesn't show up in this photo. Inside is a stamped and cut out butterfly withs till enough room for a personal greeting. Love the envelope stamped, too.
The above left card is a watercolor technique with torn edges-results are great!
The above right card has a textured diamond background, use of the Big Shot leaf die that is stamped) and cut out butterflies. Love the brad effect!
The above Left card is using the Big Shot strip die - cool! It has a textured background (which doesn't show up in the photo).
The above Right card is also a Big Shot Daises floral die stacked for the 3-D effect. I chose not stamp a message for now.

The above is (3) Big Shot Scallop Envelopes to make into a Wallet Photo holder. Each envelope has a note enclosure. Note the tab is made by using the new Scallop oval punch (just slide the end of the round tab punched paper into the oval scallop punch). Cool, eh? Great Spring colors!

Now how can anyone resist this healthy strawberry - it got lots of love to grow this big. The size is about 3" x 4". I ended up sponging the top with old olive ink and also used the big dots Big Shot textured Plate for this. Putting Real Red ink on the textured plate gives it just enough interest.
Weeeeellll...............this was a lot of cards today from one event! Whew ..........sure was fun. thanks for stopping by to enjoy these creations.
