Graduation Ribbon Lei

This is a quick addition to all those graduations - I almost forgot to post the lei I made for my Grandniece for her recent graduation. Her card was previously posted here but here's the front of the card:
Her 42" long lei is made from satin ribbon in the school colors of Yellow and Blue.
The graduation card opened sitting with the ribbon lei and what's that?
 ooooh.......some Graduation bubbles.....gotta have those!
Here's a closer look at the lei:
 Another view:
I am enjoying ribbon lei making but am also glad it is only something done once a year..................

Amazing, Patti! You're a marvel at everything I see you do on your blog. I've looked high and low on Pinterest and the web and can't find a "how to" for making the card or ribbon lei the way you have. Is there a link to a tutorial you'd be willing to share?? TFS, Patti!

Hi All, I learned how to make this lei from Christine - you can contact her Chris Tanizawa (ctanizawa@gmail.com) or if you are in Hawaii, there are local classes. I do know there are some others who give classes on lei-making but Chris is the one I have had experience with and she is wonderful. Unfortunately, I will not be doing a "how to" for the lei. There are also some books available to learn how to make leis. Thank you for your interest and I do hope you all find time to enjoy making one for someone special.

Hi Patti. I LOVE your ribbon lei. Where did you get the green gradation (multi-colored) ribbon?
