Marci in Wonderland Small Trinket Box

At the recent Pleasanton (in California)Scrapbook Expo, there was a fabulous FREE Make & Take at the Scrap-Mart booth featuring La-la Land Crafts  and of course I was going to be sure to wait in line for this since I knew the project would not fall short of spectacular. The project featured a smaller version of the Hinged Trinket Box.  So cute!!! This box will be available soon (and I was able to grab a couple kits hot off their initial production). The larger version (Sitting Princess Marci Fancy Trinket Box) was originally posted here on March 10. This trinket box measures 5-1/2" x 4" x 1-1/4".  Dies used for this project: Open Leaf Flourish die, Heart Key and Lock die, Book Tab and Labels die, Large Flourish die, and the Heart Fence die which all can be found here. Edges are slightly sponged with brown ink. The scallop oval has dots of Viva Pearl Pen around on the scallops.
                         

Use a small pencil or end of a brush to wrap and curl the stems of the flowers. Then add some Diamond Stickles to the top of the flowers for some shine.

In the right corner, I chose a soft lavender button positioned on top of the off white bow. The Open Leaf Flourish (die) is positioned underneath the Heart Key (die).

On the side of the box, the die used is the Book Tab and Labels die that wraps around to the front of the box. I used a Viva Pearl Pen on the Book Tab. The lock from the Heart Key and Lock die is attached to the front with foam squares.

See how high I piled up the top layers with foam squares?  Wowsa!!!!
