Peony Cottage for a Friend

This is a house I have been wanting to make for a very long time. I've had this SVG collection for over a year. I finally had an occasion to make as a gift for a great friend.  You can find it at SVGcuts.com called Peony Cottage here.  It is a great container and makes a wonderful home decor. I chose to use Spring/Summer colors for this house.  The papers used are from my paper stash but any color combinations would be great. The only change I made to this cut file is adding vellum card stock behind each of the windows...........finished size is 6-1/4" x 3" x 6".

House Front:

The front door is embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and has an adhesive pearl for the door knob.

The window sills are 3D and pop out from the house;

The roof each piece is embossed using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, then edged with brown ink.

Here are the flowers on each side on the front with adhesive pearls for the center of the flowers.

SURPRISE!!!  Look what is inside.......two tea lights.
