Santa Quick Box

Another project from the SVG Cut file collection Santa's Visit from using my SCAL (Sure Cuts a Lot) program. This Quick Box is the perfect size: 4-1/4" x 3" x 2-3/8" ( at the bottom) and 3" (at the top). I love how Mary used twine to wrap around the brads - Gold thread is used for my project. To give this box a vintage look, most of the edges are sponged using SU Close to Cocoa ink. DSP used around the box is from my large stash of Holiday paper...............little by little, my paper stash is finally being used.

Stamp, Santa, and Santa's nose are popped with dimensionals. Eyes are made using a black pen. use SU Sahara Sand to lightly sponge the beard edge.

Bottom half of the box are three paper buttons using SU Button Embosslit, then a gold pen for the "thread". Add a stamped message as a final touch.

Gold thread around each brad twice, then knotted. Apply a drop of Glossy Accent to secure the knot.

Side view: Close the box using 1/4" grosgrain ribbon

The lid opens to get the treats inside:

  • Stamps: PTI (Papertrey Inc) Mat Stack 3 Collection

  • CS: SU Cherry Cobbler, SY Naturals ivory, Recollections White, SU Blush Blossom, SU Chocolate Chip, Misc. DSP

  • Ink: SU Close to Cocoa, SU Pink Pirouette, SU Sahara Sand

  • Accys: Cuttlebug Tapestry Embossing Folder, SU Square Lattice Embossing Folder, SU Button Embosslit, Gold Pen, Gold Brads, Gold Thread Glossy Accents, 1/4" SU Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Black Pen, Sponge Dauber

Thank you for stopping by today.............stay tuned for one more project from this SVG Cut file coming next week.
