3 Drawer Valentine Box

I made another version of this 3 Drawer Candy Box for Valentines Day. See the previous one posted 12/17 for Xmas. This one has the cool new DSP in the occasions Mini - there's glitter and glitz on the paper! Finished size of this project: 7" x 3-1/4" x 3/4". I LOVE this color!

Inside!!! Yum!!!! Covered DSP nuggets with a message..........

You can also refer to 12/17 previous post for basic instructions:
FOR THE BOX:
(1) 7-1/2" X 7" Real Red CS (due to use of the punch all around the edge this measurement is different from the previous 12/17 post)
(1) 6-1/4" x 2-3/4" Pretty in Pink CS
(1) 6" x 2-1/2" Sending Love DSP
(1) Scallop Circle in Real Red
(1) Pretty in Pink Full Heart Punch - use Dot Impression Folder
(1) "love" in Real Red CS from the Join in the Cheer Decorative Strip
(1) Large Heart in Real Red from the Heart to Heart Punch
(1) Medium heart in Pretty in Pink from the Heart to Heart Punch
(3) Matchbox boxes: (2) in Pretty in Pink, (1) in Very Vanilla CS
(2) 5-1/2" long cut 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon
FOR NUGGETS:
(12) 1 x 3-1/4" Sending Love DSP

After the entire Real Red CS is punched, score: on the 7-1/2" side, 3-1/4", then 4". You will have (2) 3-1/4" sides and a 3/4" in the middle (see left photo). Using the slot punch, find the top cover center and punch about 3/8 in toward the top of the box:

You will need to punch the slot punch a couple times to thread the 5/8" ribbon through the hole. Secure ribbon using sticky tape. Now you can work on the box top: use 2 Way Glue Pen to adhere the "love. Pop the scallop circle and heart with a dimensional. Pop the (2) hearts on the left side of the box with dimensional, too if desired. After this step is completed, place on top of the box.

Wrap the nuggets with DSP. Secure with a mini glue dot. Use the 2 way glue pen to adhere the letters.

Assemble the matchboxes. Apply sticky tape to the sides of the inside right and left box as shown. Secure, turn over, then apply sticky tape to all 3 boxes.
These boxes are placed on the inside - Ooops, be sure to secure the 2nd 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain ribbon before putting those matchboxes down. That's it.............

Patti, Just discovered your blog a few weeks ago. I absolutely loved the Christmas ornaments with popcorn. I told several friends about them and sent them a link to your site. Your pictures with directions are so easy to follow. The colored arrows really help. Red is my favorite color too.
