Holiday Shopping Bag, Pillow Boxes and MORE

A few more projects from Day 2 of the La-la Land Retreat. This shopping bag with ornament is designed by one of the Design Team member Sue (her blog here).  The bag size is 6" x 7" x 2-1/2" excluding the 2-1/4" high handles.  This is a pretty cool bag - hard to give away. Love the red glitter popped up letters used in the "JOY". The ornament has the same holiday feeling -see more details further below:
The Booktab and Labels die used on the handles (found here), cut them in half. i added red adhesive rhinestones.
Pretty Ponsettia die (found here) around with a popped star give this bag lots of holiday feel. The Ponsettias are pinched up for dimension and adhered with mini glue dots. See the Heart Doily Boarder die in the background (found here).
Like this tree? it is the Christmas Tree die (found here), eight of them used here. To "frost" the tree, a bottle of White Out/Correction Fluid used. Yup, get it from the office supply store. I love how this tree stands out and gives so much dimension to the bag.
The ornament was made using the Hot Air Balloon die found here. can you see the balloon bottom used as a top?  The bow was made using the Folding Banner die but made into a bow - clever, eh? The top and bottom decorative boarder is using the Scallop Boarder die (found here). Ornament is 3-3/4" x 4-1/2" and flips up for a hand written message.
Thank you, Sue for such a great inspirational project.
Then there is this project: by Design Team Leader Sandy (her blog flound here) cute Christmas Ornament Luka - love the colors for this card and especially all the dies used.  Dies used here are the Decorative Corner Die, Ornate Snowflakes dies, and Folding Banner Die which all can be found here.  I had forgotten to stamp the La-la land message so had to search through my stamps and found this one from Papertrey Inc. called: Holiday Lights. Finished card size is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2".
Here's a side view of the card:
On the double layer Ornate Snowflake, Sakura Crystal gel pen is used along with an adhesive flat back pearl in the center:
Card inside: Love those corners inside, too:

so sorry I did not make note of the Designer for the rest of the projects posted today. A couple cute gingham pillow boxes: smaller in 3" x 2-1/2" with a twist - use a Scallop Boarder die (found here) around one end, wrap it around and top it off with a thin contrast card stock and of course, finish it off with a double layer die cut Ornate Snowflakes Die (found here), Sakura Crystal gel pen for some subtle shine and a adhesive flat back rhinestone for the center.
Another pillow box: this one is 3-3/4" x 2-1/4" . The embossed dot is wrapped around the pillow box.  The Large Flourish Leaf Die (found here) adds dimension to this box. Finish it off with the Water Lily die (which looks like a sunflower) and can be found here. Add an adhesive pearl to the center.
This card is an example of how to use dies in a creative way.  Note the Heart Boarder die (found here) is used. The Scalloped Boarder die is peeking out at the bottom - it is actually 2 pieces to for this card bottom (found here) and also used the Scallop Bracket die (found here).  Card size is 5-1/2 x 5-1/2".
By layering the same color on top of the boarder using foam squares, more dimension is added to the card:
Love those Rolled Rose Small & Medium quilled flowers (die can be found here):

There are 3 more mega projects from Day 2..............so stay tuned tom.............
