Round Side Step Mariko

Sister Stamps release #8 includes Mariko holding a gift - perfect for those birthdays.  I made a round side step card, a little different from those rectangular or square ones. In fact, I was able to easily create this using my Silhouette Program and cut out using my Silhouette. SCAL users: this can also be created in SCAL because it is a simple 4-1/4" circle, just put a few fold lines and you are done.  Original tutorial (and a template) can be found from Norma's blog: From My Craft Room posted 3-22-12. I love how this card rocks back and forth.  Adhesive pearls make the perfect finishing touch..
The note card is removable for a hand written personalized message..............

To make this card:
(1) 4-1/4" Circle Card Stock, using the template info in this blog post.
(1) 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" Washi Paper
(1) 2-1/4' x 2-1/4" White Card Stock
(1) Cut shaped Washi
(1) 2-3/8" x 3-3/4" Card Stock, punch presents at the top
Separate punched presents with backed purple card stock paper.
Fold the circle as shown, attach shaped Washi:

And here's how to create those gift packages. Use the Martha Stewart punch on the edge, then cut each package with different colors.
And oh yes, Copic colors used on Mariko:
Hair: W10, W4, W5, W7
Face: E21, R20
Clothing: BV00, V17, RV10, R81, Gold Jell pen for package tie and dress accents
And Yes, for one of the packages, I did punch it out in Neenah White Card Stock, then used Copic BV00 to color it so it would match the gift package Mariko is carrying............instead of looking through my scraps for something that would match.
Have yourself a great crafting day......................
