Snowman in the Woods

I LOVE this snowman!Finished card size is 4x4 closed - photo is showing the card slightly "opened". Had to use those Nestabilities for this card (4-1/4" scallop and 3-1/2" Circle).

Dimensionals are only added to the Snowman and Reindeer layer. The 3 layers of snow "shape" are cut freehand, 2 way glue and dazzling diamonds added.

The Peace Joy Love banner is simply cut 3/8" x 5-1/4". Use a 3/4" Square punch to get the perfect banner point on each end, then the fold 1/4" "crease" at the beginning and end of the words for that banner look and snail onto the circle (no dimensionals or glue dots)

This is called an explosion card (see Dawn's Stamping Thoughts posted 7/3/08 - AND she has a video!). Also Irina's site http://www.everythingpapercrafts.blogspot.com/ calls this card a Diamond Fold. Instructions on her site linked to Chris Walker ........sigh.....so many talented folks!
