Project #15
This may seem to be a simple card but it has a lot of details. All papers supplied at the retreat. Especially elegant is the brushed gold paper used for the larger mat. Finished card size is 8-3/4" x 4-1/2. Look closely to see the top vanilla mat with a manually scored frame. This is done using your score board 1/4" away around the edges of the mat.
La la Land Crafts dies used: North Pole, Three Trees, Postage Stamp, Double Stitched Hills Border, Christmas Tree, and Filigree Elements. These dies can all be found here. The Postage Stamp is popped with foam squares with the Filigree Elements peeking out at the top and bottom.
The North Pole die is cut twice: once with card stock and the 2nd time using chipboard without removing the words "North Pole". Smear Gold Viva paste on the chipboard to achieve this effect. Then adhere the vanilla card stock die cut on top.
On the right side is the Christmas Tree popped with foam squares.
Card inside: again, the mat is manually scored around 1/4" away from the edges. The brushed gold mat is very elegant inside.
Thank you for stopping by today to visit. Stay tuned for more projects from Day 2 retreat.
