LLC Retreat Day 1 - Skater Marci on a Tube With Drawer

Project #2
This project is quite unique.  It is using a chipboard tube cut 2" high. Original design made by Tamara (her blog found here) had Penguins decorated on the lid.  All papers used supplied at the retreat. The small size skater from Winter Fun stamp set is used here. La-la Land Crafts dies used for this project: Three Christmas Trees, Pierced Scallops, Double Stitched Circles, Double Stitched Hill Border, Stitched Elements, and Small Snowflakes which all can be found here.
Here's a closer look at the top: Clear Wink of Stella is added to the tree tips and top of the hillside. The top and bottom of the "box" is using the Pierced Circle and Double Stitched Circles dies.
Stamp is called Winter Fun from La-la Land Crafts and can be found here.
Copic colors used:
Face: E000, E00, E01, E11, R11, R20, R21
Hair: W1, W3, W5, W7
Hat, Scarf, Mittens:
Dress: BG000, BG02, BG05, B00, Clear Wink of Stella
Socks: BG000
Boots: W1, W3, W7, Silver Smooch on skate blades
The banner (from Stitched Elements die) is cut twice: one in Kraft and the other with the stamped "Winter Fun", then popped with foam squares.
The drawer: White acrylic paint is used for the top of the tube front.  The actual drawer itself is made using the white card stock. The paper is wrapped around the front to back for a clean finish. The drawer opening is also wrapped to the inside as well.
 Here's a side view:
The drawer pull: Note the circle is die cut from the Double Stitched Circle die.
Thank you for stopping by today. Stay tuned for retreat project #3...............
