Asian Milestone 99th Birthday

How does one celebrate a milestone like 99 years old?  Goodness - a special time to celebrate. Of course a special card needs to be presented.  Box card design by Debbie Pamment - her blog here. This card style was taught at one of the annual La-la Land Retreat sessions. A 3rd strip to hold another image was added. Paper: Recollections Black Card Stock, DCWV The Far East Stack paper. Various basic punches used: EK Success 2" Punch, EK Success 1-3/4" Punch, EK Success 1-1/2" Punch, EK Success 1-1/4" Punch. Back panel top edge, flaps, and top inside strips are using EK Success Loops border Punch. Finished box card size: 6-1/2" x 5-1/2".

A note about those randomly placed golden fire crackers: use scraps of gold card stock about 1" wide x 3" long - adhere a gold cord, then roll up and adhere closed. Also add Gold Stickles on the ends of the cord.
Wiki C.A.P.S. Good Luck Die used on the front panel.  Ellentina Cutting Dies TSD009 used on the second panel.  The year 99 was a Silhouette cut using Black card stock, mat with decorative paper punched, then mat with black card stock, then gold card stock.
Free Font: printed Chow Fun used for the message.  Punch it using EK Success 1-1/4" Circle Punched, then mat it with a 1-1/2" punch in Black card stock, and finally a 1-3/4" Gold card stock circle. Pop with foam squares. Add two golden fire crackers.
Cuttlebug Asia Embossing Folder Set used on the bottom panels.

Card Back: Cut a Gold card stock mat on top of a white card stock. Add the Asian character "Shou" which means "long life".  This Asian character was cut using my Silhouette and the character was found on line.
Box card flat ready to place in an envelope.
Thank you for stopping by today to visit. Have a crafty day!
