2016 Asian Marci Calendars

These calendars were a last minute idea.  They have been sent to Japan for special friends.  Do they look familiar? Asian Marci Tissue Box Holder  was previously posted on 3/11/2016 using these images.  Love all the Asian Marci images along with the great decorative paper combination.  Why re-invent what looks really great but make it into a useful and decorative calendar.  La-La Land Craft stamps and dies used can be found here.
Here is one of the calendars: overall length is 11-3/4 and 6" wide. The top portion of this project is made from chipboard measuring 4-3/4" x 5-1/2". The calendar portion also made from chipboard is 4-3/4" x 3-3/4". The edges of the cut chipboard are inked with a Krylon Gold Pen. Then covered with Bazzil Lipstick Pink textured Card stock. A mat using My Little Shoebox Cherry Delight - Serenade (retired).  The Jaded Blossom 4" Stitched Circle along with Couture Creations Asian Wave Embossing folder. The calendar is 3" x 2-1/4".

At the top of the project is a single tied 1/2" wide Pink Organdy ribbon attached using Glossy Accents. Top of this project is from my favorite on line SVG store: SVGcuts - Collection used is called Spring Blossoms/Pagoda Card found here. Top base is cut using Lipstick Pink from Bazzil, Chocolate Brown from Core-dinations, and a Shimmer Gold contrast all cut using my Silhouette.
1/2" Pink Organdy ribbon in between the layers of card stock and chipboard connect the top and bottom of this project.  There is about 1/4" distance between the top and bottom sections.
On the back, a loop is made from Gold cord tied through in between the layers:
This is on the calendar back:
