LLC Retreat: Sitting Mermaid Marci Pop-Up Card

Day 2: Project #14 Sitting Mermaid Marci Pop-Up Card designed by Sue Kohler. Her blog is called My Inner reflection and can be found here. This card has a LOT going on - lots to see and it was lots to make, too.  Finished card size is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" excluding the lattice Doily Border (which adds 1-7/8" to the height of this card).  Card base is using white card stock. This oceanic scenery card shown is opened:
Sitting Mermaid Marci is double popped with foam squares.  She has turquoise adhesive rhinestones on her hair band. Original image had brownish color hair. I like the ombre "sea" hair coloring using Copic pens which incorporates the turquoise and brown shades.
Love the colors used in her hair which incorporates the turquoise and brown colors:
More detail on the hair:
On the bottom part of the opened card:  The Stitched Circle is adhered first. Then, Double Stitched Hills Border along with various colors of die cut Seaweed flank each side.  Popped Sea Horse, stamped and die cut Fish, and Starfish are randomly placed amongst the various colors of Seaweed. Add adhesive rhinestones to the Sea Horse and Star Fish. This is the bottom right side.
This is the bottom left side.
Popped out center section of the card:
There are two colors of the die cut Grass Boarder. Then a popped Koi circle with a Stitched Nested Circle, along with various colors of Seaweed scattered on each side of Sitting Mermaid Marci.  Adhesive rhinestones on the Sea Horse and Star Fish are used. The Anchor is located on the left side and embellished with a turquoise and white twine around it.
The stamped and die cut fish, Sea Horse, and Star Fish are popped with foam squares on the right side.
Side view: here's how the card was made to "pop".  There are three sections of squares that are adhered to the center and back panel...simple, eh?
Back panel: More dies used on this panel.  The back die is the Lattice Doily Border, then the Heart Doily Border, followed by die cutting two Suns (from the Sun and Cloud die).   Adhere the sun in the center and arrange the "rays" so they are forward. The clouds are all  popped with foam squares.  The Birds are also popped with foam squares.
This is actually the card front: Love this Stitched Nested Circle (a port hole) showing popped up stamped and die cut fishes swimming by. Die cut Seaweed are attached to the right and left side of the port hole underneath the Stitched Ribbon.
A closer look at the popped up fish:
