LLC Retreat Tag Masquerade Masks

Day 1: Project #4
Back at the end of October (2014), the second La-la Land Craft Retreat was held in Pacifica, California. And, again, this year was no disappointment. These "Make and Take" tags are designed by Debbie Pamment (her blog here).  Finished tag size is 3-1/4" x 6-1/4"  We had a choice of colors to make for our tags: Turquoise, Yellow and here is mine which is made with RED (my favorite color) rhinestones.  I had some of these at home so was able to easily switch out the color and finish my tag at home. The White card stock mat is embossed with Swiss Dots for texture. Love that Wrought Iron Fence die from La-la Land Crafts (found here).  It is the perfect back drop for this tag.
Here's a closer look at one of the new dies from La-la Land Crafts. The Black die cut Masquerade Mask is offset using Kraft paper, then popped with some foam squares.
The crushed Vanilla colored seam binding is the perfect touch for the tag.  The Cherry Blossom Branch is a die from La-la land Crafts found here.
And, a closer look at the Cherry Blossom Flowers (a die from La-la Land Crafts found here). The stamens in the center of the flower are colors using a red Copic pen, then threaded through the cherry blossoms.
Thank you for stopping by to visit today....stay tuned for more projects from the 2014 La-la Land Crafts Retreat
