Lucky Asian Notebook

I made this gift for a friend. It is a notebook with a plastic case (those from Stampin-Up used for the packaging) then wrapped with gold organdy ribbon. Details further below.

Here is the notebook out of the plastic case. I found these notebook covers with adhesive insides from a salvage store and had to do something with them. Finished notebook size is 4-1/4" x 6-1/4". I've had this Asian word paper for a while: it is from EK Success: Over the Moon Press called Love Forever Gold Icons. Mat is a Brushed Gold from Recollections and the punched strip is Red Card Stock. The punch used is from EK Success called Modern Cube. Resin Embellishment is something picked up from the Hong Kong Trim Market long ago and the antiques gold coin is adhered with a mini glue dot.

here's a closer look:

Oh, I forgot, on the spine are my favorite charms strung on gold cords. I bought these on line from Oriental Trading and also from my local Craft Store: source is Blue Moon Beads
Inside cover has the same pun ched strip with small antique coins.
Here's the inside: a 4"x6" note pad.

That's all for today...............make something fun and have a crafty day!!!
