Baker Marci Projects

These are from the December 2015 La-la Land Craft Project Kit. They are soooo cute! I absolutely love how they turned out. The instructions in the kit are so self explanatory and easy to follow.  There is a folder card, mini album and another card.  The monthly project kits are no longer available but you can still join a monthly kit from La-la Land Crafts: see their site here for the various options. The La-la Land Crafts Design Team can provide inspiration for all the new monthly releases. All stamps and dies are now available on the La-la Land store here.

This is a 6x6 card.  Card base is Kraft color card stock.  Baker Marci sits in the middle of the popped up fold over front.  The corners of the mat are die cut from the Apron Die (included in the kit). The Whisk and Rolling Pin dies are also part of this kit, too.
Here's a closer look at Baker Marci: Copic color info provided in the kit.
.
And, here is the Apron at the bottom right corner: sponge it lightly with brown ink
On the left side is the whisk and rolling pin with a paper flower embellishing it.
Untie the side seam binding ribbon to reveal pockets which hold four tags.  There were not part of the original instructions but why not included them since there was a pocket. The tags were made using the La-la Land Crafts Hello Tag die offered in the on line store found here. The stamps used on the tags were inked using Momento Cocoa. Finish the tags using some twine.
Card inside: love all the matting with the various papers
This second project is a small mini book: size is 4" x 5-1/4" x 3/4". Edges are all lightly sponged with brown ink.  On the front is Baker Marci popped with foam squares. LOVE that Ric Rac die which has been used on the right front edge as well as on the front (behind Baker Marci at her feet). The Apron Die (cut twice) used here as a "handle" to open the magnetic front flap.
A closer look at Baker Marci: Copic colors used for her are in the kit instructions:
On the bottom left side are die cut Whisk and Rolling pin with a button and twine embellishment:

Fully opened covers reveal decorated center page:
These are photos of the pages in the book: please excuse the paper clips on some of the pages - they are temporary place holders until photos are attached.
In the center of the album in back is a Ric Rac embellished pocket which holds two tags:

Last project is a card: This is a A2 size card. Original design was a longer card. Card base is Kraft card stock.  The front has a 2-1/2" circle cut in half and positioned on the card as shown. Love that Ric Rac die used.
In the monthly kit: Baker Marci is a small size: only 2-1./2" tall (verses the normal 4-1/4" tall). She is popped with foam squares and sits on top of a fussy cut frame which is also popped with foam squares.
Card inside: that Ric Rac die is quite versatile!

Birthday Celebration Box Card

This is a quick and simple Birthday Box card using the cut file from the Silhouette Store.  Additional balloons to further embellish this card can be easily re-sized, cut and attached.  The flexibility is nice to enable some different interest to the card.  Paper used is from my stash.  Finished box card when flat is 5-1/2 x 5" (due to additional balloons sticking out beyond the card). EK Success Star punch used to randomly position stars on the card.

Side view:
Back: adding an additional balloon and some more paper embellishments are festive.
