Birthday Cake Explosion Box

This project was previously posted on my blog on April 14, 2014. The Birthday Cake Treat box is a SVG cut file is from SVGcutting. Papers used are from my stash. Lid is 2" x 6" x 6". Finished box size 6" x 6" x 6".  Stamp used on tag is from Lawn Fawn Just for You

Here's a closer look at the bow: EK Success Slim Scallop punched "ribbon" width is 1". Bow is made using 3 loop sections and one loop for the center. Each layer is stapled, then attached using glue dots.

Remove the lid to reveal a paper cake inside:

Paper hat has a computer generated name.  Ribbon Ruffle around hat is gathered using a needle and thread. Final touch: a pom pom at the hat tip.

"Happy Birthday" is computer generated to be positioned around the cake tops.

Remove the cake to reveal some Hershey kisses with stamped messages from Jaded Blossom Birthday Candies.

Hello Kitty Swivel Gift Card Holder Card

Received this fabulous birthday card a while back and am finally getting a chance to post it. A 5" x 6" Card. A nice surprise inside card.

Slowly open the card to reveal it is a gift card holder.

Open it fully to reveal, a swivel mechanism that pops up a message:

Asian Lion Dance Birthday Card

Received this birthday card from a creative friend a while back and am finally posting it now.
This card is way too beautiful not to share.  It is made by Eunice: her blog (A star for Chiemi) can be found here. Look for more details about this card on her blog. Finished card size is 5" x 7-1/4" x 1-3/8".  Shimmery Ivory  and Gold card stock mainly used along with red card stock in many places. The photos in this post do not reflect how gorgeous this card is in person.

Top half of the first layer of this card hangs red (my favorite color) lanterns.  You can also see the third panel (layer) where The Asian Pillar is attached with characters translating to: Happy Birthday.

I think this little Asian girl is so cute with her Red and Gold trimmed Asian dress. Love her red shoes, too.  She is cut out and popped with foam tape. Her cheeks have a hint of blush - so cute!

This cute Lion is attached on to the second panel (layer) of the card.  And, he is really cute!!!

Made this quick but cute birthday card for a Snoopy fan. Snoopy and Charlie Brown image from the Internet.  Stampin-Up Really Rust card stock and Decorative paper from my stash. 
Stitch Rectangle die from Your Next Stamp  on card front is white card stock.
Twine from my stash.  Card size 5-1/2" x 4-1/4"

Fabulous Marci Gate Fold Closet Card

Made this cute birthday card for my Grand Niece. This card styles was posted previously on LLC Retreat - Day 1 on August 9, 2017 Fabulous Marci Closet card. Finished card size 6" X 6-3/4".  This card co-ordinated with the box shown in the photos.  Details of dies and paper information at the end of this post.
