Minion Visits Disneyland
Got this two page 8x8 scrapbook kit from www.itsscrapbooktime.com because of my love for Minions. They have many other layouts with Disney themes available. Love the colors and the cute Mickey Minion (still with "MM" initials - lol). Aren't the fireworks paper used at the top of the page perfect for this layout? The photo mats are perfect colors for this theme.
Stuart gets black paint all over him - how expected is that? Use a white gel pen to dot his eye and nose.
Here's a closer look at the title on the left 8x8 page.

Minion Recipe Cookies
A quick post today. Made this 8x8 scrapbook Recipe page from a Disney kit. These kits can be purchased from www.itsscrapbooktime.com. They are an on line store and have many other recipe kits which I have previously posted. I love this recipe because of the Minions! Can't wait to try making them. Everything in the kit is pre-cut to be assembled so completing these pages are quick and satisfying.
A White gel pen is used for the dot in his eye:Adding Diamond Stickles around the recipe and instructions add some sparkle to the page.

Kimono Marci Box Drawer with Easel
This is a project made for a special birthday for a special friend............inspired by one of the projects from one of the past La-la Land Workshops (link to project found here). Paper from retired My Little Shoebox Cherry Delight: Serenade, Charming. Brown, Kraft, Green and White card stock from Recollections. Pink card stock is Bazzil. Paper Board Drawer Box from La-la Land Crafts, unfortunately this product is no longer available. Yay - I still have a couple more kits I can use to dress up. Kimono Marci Stamp is the main focus and is part of the easel style top. Finished size is 4" x 6" x 4" with card flat. Lots of photos below.
Here's a closer look at the easel card section of the project:
Kimono Marci is cut out, then popped with foam squares. Lantern Boarder is die cut 3 times using brown card stock so it would be more sturdy since it extends pass the card base.
Copic colors used:
Hair: W2, W4, W6. W8
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, R11, R20
Umbrella, Kimono contrast, Shoes: E34, E35, RV00, R81. R83, R85
Dress: Paper Pieced.
Taylor Expressions: Build a Scene - Swirly Clouds used behind the Pagoda. Pagoda is die cut, Vellum card stock added behind the windows, then popped with foam squares. Add the bridge die cut in Kraft card stock with a woodgrain stamp for texture (only pop the bridge ends with foam squares). Note the Grass Boarder is die cut in two shades of green, then attached offset for some dimension.
On the left side: On the lid, a strip of 3/8" wide pink grosgrain ribbon sits on top of the 5/8" wide brown grosgrain. Then paper and silk flowers are secured as an anchor to hold the card up. Leaves are flocked - ends of both flowers and leaves are curled around a smallpaint brush.
On the right side of the lid: die cut and glue 7 layers of Cherry Blossom Flowers in brown card stock, one layer of pink card stock, and final top layer in pattern paper to achieve this look.
