18th Birthday Cheer Step Card

Made this card for my Grand Niece's 18th birthday.  She is a cheerleader so this card represents what she loves to do. Papers are from my stash.  Image is cut using Silhouette.  Cut file is from SVG cutting - Give a Cheer Jessica found here.  Finished card size is 5-1/2" x 6".  Clear Jelly Roll Pen used around each of the decorative paper mat edges.

Happy Birthday Present is Cottage Cutz Gift Tag Topper die. Clear Jelly Roll Pen  used around the die cut white card stock circle and bow. The popped zig-zag circle medallion is an image created on the Silhouette. 

"18" is Ariel Font and the Silhouette cutting machine with a shadow. Clear Wink of Stella used around the white card stock circle. This medallion is popped with foam squares.

Name is die using Ariel Font and the Silhouette cutting machine with a shadow.

World of Beauty Mexico Note Pad

Made this project for a birthday present. Bright card stock colors really bring out the festive feeling. All papers from my stash. Cut file is from Treasure Box Designs - World Beauty Mexico. Maracas cut file from Scrapping Bug Designs - Cinco de Mayo. Used the Silhouette to cut the images.  Note pad is pre-made.  Blank note pad can be purchased from the Dollar Tree. Dies used: La-la Land Crafts: Flag Banner, Scalloped Rectangles.  Finished project size: 6-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 7/8".

Kyoto Cutie Note Pad

This project was made for a birthday gift.  Papers are Gold, Washi, Red and Black card stock are from my stash. Image: using the Silhouette: Kyoto Cuties cut file (retired).  Dies used: Letterset: Scalloped Nesting Rectangles and Ali Express: Lanterns, Knotted tassle, Decorative Shape, Kanji Happy Birthday Words.  Note Pad holder is pre-made. Blank Note pads can be purchased from the Dollar Tree.
Finished size:  6-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 7/8".

The die cut tassel in gold with a black shadow in back.

 

The Kyoto Cutie: She is popped with foam squares.  Pink chalk cheeks on her face.

Side view:

Inside cover: a Post-it Note is adhered with the die cut Kanji words: Happy Birthday and a string of lanterns across the top.

Laturns are die cut twice: in black card stock, then off set with gold card stock.

A closer look at the Kanji words " Happy Birthday" die cut twice: in black, then Gold card stock. Adhere to the top of the stack of post-it notes.

Right side of the note pad is a place for the pen. Holder is made using 5/8" wide black grosgrain ribbon secured underneath the paper pad.

Paris Trip Tag Mini Book

Made another mini tag book. This one was for a friend who recently made a trip to Paris. Used the Cricut Cartridge Destinations! Yay! It sits on the front cover.  A white gel pen highlights the tower. All papers are from my stash.  Finished book size is approximately 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" x 1-1/2".

Stampingbella Uptown Girl Melinda has a Map rubber stamp. Pop with foam squares.
Copic colors:

Words are cut using Ariel Font cut using the Silhouette. Mat is using Kraft card stock. Popped with foam squares and highlighted using a white gel pen (photo bottom has a upload issue).

Inside cover has the year of travel. A photo can be slipped underneath the numbers. Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die from La-la  Land Crafts used with decorative paper inside mat. On the right side (first page), the Curved Pocket die used with decorative paper mat.  The smaller size Stitched Tag fits into the pocket.

This is the center of the book:  Both pages flip down.

On the backside of the center pages: left side is a decorative mat.  A Curved Pocket is die cut twice, then inserted into the spine. The Curved Pocket holds a Stitched Tag.

Behind the Curved Pocket page is a page that flips outwards.

Last page: Decorative paper on  the left side.  Back cover has a Curved Pocket with Stitched Tag which sits on top of the solid color Stitched Scallop Rectangle.

Back of mini tag book: this tag is part of the dies included in the Curved Pocket die set.
