OMG - is this the cutest or what? I got this from my friend Kris who lives in Hawaii. She is so talented with her punch art. It is actually even functional: a file pocket folder used as the "Mat" for this Hello Kitty Scene. Some Shimmery Light and Dark Blue textured paper is used for the sky and sea. The background scenery is cut using shaped scissors. I believe the flowers and bridge are a die. But the focus is Hello Kitty. Cute that they are dressed in the traditional Kimono outfits. Finished project size is 9-1/2" x 5-3/4"
Here's a look at Hello Kitty: it is the Sizzix Standing Hello Kitty die (2-1/4" tall). The clothing is all hand cut out. Yeek - such small detail. And Hello Kitty (also using Sizzix 2-1/4" Standing Hello Kitty die. Yup, those small sakura flowers in her kimono:are part of her costume design and they are small dies (or punch), then painstakingly attached to her dress and bow.
Here's one of the larger fishes: Heart punches used to make this cute fish. The water accent is using a circle punch.
Here's another fish: made also by using some small heart punches: can you see it?
Open the folio and two flaps are revealed:
Flip up the flaps to be able to fill it with some goodies:
I love this - thank you Kris for sending this to me!
Thank you for coming by to visit today.
