Baby Boy Shower Bitty Book

A special gift for a Baby Boy Shower: this retired Stampin-Up Bitty Books are a snap to decorate but serves a great purpose for 3" x 3" snapshots. Album is painted with white acrylic paint.  Solid papers used are from Recollections. Decorative Paper is from Simple Stories Color Vibe 6x6 Paper Pack.  Finished Album case size is 5" x 4-1/4" x 1-3/8".  The original project is chipboard which was painted with white paint.  Inside album is 4-4/8" x 3-3/4" x 1". A small white shopping bag will hold the finished album.

Front Box Cover:

Double matted album cover and album.  Center of album cover is using White cut using the Silhoutte Nested Shape cut file.  Add texture to the Grey card stock by using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  Then shape is popped with foam tape.

Small baby onesies are cut using the Silhouette Baby Banner file (without the string across the top) - add foam squares to them.


Name is cut using the Silhouette. Making the white card stock shadow was a snap with the Silhouette.
Spine: 1/8" wide red satin ribbon is wrapped, single knotted with themed sport charms. These sport charms can be found at a local craft store. To secure the knots and charms from coming loose, use mini glue dots n tuck knot inside the bead.
Album Cover:

Double mats same as the album cover used for the outside of the album cover.   Two die cut baby pins on the bottom right corner.

 Album inside cover: a touch of 1/8" wide red card stock peeks out of the pocket.  Grey card stock uses the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.Pages have red, black, and white card stock mats.


 Inside page 1: a small copy of the invitation.

Mickey Pop Up Birthday Cake Card

This A2 size Pop Up cake card is using Karen Burniston Cake Pop-up Die. Papers used for this card are from my stash: all Disney color inspired! 

Front cover: Mouse hat with sentiment is an Ali Express die cut 3 times, stacked to create a chipboard effect embellishment. Mickey balloons are a SVG cut file from Miss Kate Cutables using my Silhouette.  The Mickey balloons were used but the curly strings were from another cut file. Use a white gel pen to highlight the ears and balloon sides.
 Open the card slowly to reveal:

 It is a pop up cake!
 A better view:
Bottom layer of cake is red card stock, middle layer is black card stock, and top layer is white card stock. Mickey hands, shoes, and hat are dies from Ali Express. They are cut twice to be more sturdy.  A 4" paper doilie is under the cake. 
 The "wish big" message and name is cut using the free Walt Disney font.

Box of Doughtnuts Birthday Card

This birthday card is for a doughnut lover. The box and doughnuts are SVG cut files from the Silhouette on line store.  The box has been re-sized so the height is 3/8" high (instead of the original 3/4" height).  Box size is 3-1/2" x 2-5/8".  Using Clear Stickles on the doughnuts as well as the designer paper. Doughnut themed paper from my stash.
Side view showing the box height. The Scalloped 1" wide belly band is lightly inked using brown ink. 
 
 Birthday greeting is a die cut in brown card stock (3 layers).
 Name is die cut using brown card stock.
Box can be opened to smell the sweet doughnuts (popped with foam tape).
Doughnuts are 7/8" in diameter. Doughnut base is using Kraft card stock and lightly sponged with brown ink.  Icing are cut using scraps.  Sprinkles are using various Copic Markers.
Card inside: die cut message, double mat.

Retirement Box Card

Made this retirement box card using papers from my stash. Computer generated words also used along with some Ali Express dies.
