Hello Kitty Skeleton Thank You

This is a quick A2 size Thank You card using the SVG Cut File from one of the SVGcutting first Hello Kitty Blog Hop (August  2013).  She is cut 3-1/2" high.  Background paper is from a Cloud 9 Photo Mat pack. Card base is using Recollections Black.

The Wink of Stella Clear is used on her Orange Bow (sorry photo doesn't show it at all). 

Merci  is cut using my Silhouette - it is a easy to create these words on the Silhouette program and also make an offset background mat.

Halloween Mini Star Book

I made this fun project for a birthday gift.  My first Star Book. The star book style is a combination of a gift I received from Gene (a larger one posted here on my blog August 29, 2014) and Gina (a 3 x 3 one which provided the inspiration - her blog here).  This is the box which holds the Star Book.  The box measures 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" x 1-1/4" .  The Paper used is from K & Company Spooktacular Designer Paper although any type of Halloween paper will work, too. The image on the front was one of their daily FREE SVG cut files from Miss Kate Cuttables. See that cute ghost?  You will see it again inside but larger. The entire house is popped with foam squares.  There is a separate roof that is cut separately, then  adhered to the house. The moon in the back is cut using my Silhouette, too - I love how I can customize the circle size to fit the image.

Front of Book with a popped up ghost that was enlarged using my Silhouette, the orange circle was cut using a 1-3/4" punch. Googlie eyes are used for some fun. White Organdy ribbon is used to secure the book closed. Cover is made from Chipboard 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" covered using the same paper as the box.

Overview of book: spines are white, then orange, with black card stock mats. Paper from Recollections.  To make the pages: these are the measurements used:
(6) Designer paper: 3" x 4", fold in half ot get 3" x 2", apply sticky tape to the 3" side
(6) Black card stock: 3" x 5", fold in half to get 3" x 2-1/2", apply sticky tape to the 3" side, these pages will be "floating".
(6) Orange card stock: 3" x  6", fold in half to get 3" x 3", apply sticky tape to all sides of 3 pages because the pages will be glued together
(6) White card stock : 2" x 3", score on the 2": 1/2", 1" 1-1/2", apply sticky tape to 3 of the 4 sections. Stick the center ones together, adhere the outer 1/2" sections to the orange card stock.
>when using the punched strips, they were made 1/2" shorter so they would be away from the page: 1-1/2" or 1-3/4" would work depending on the punch used, adhere using a glue dot.

Star book opened:

All he paper used for the book and inside is from K & Company Spooktacular Designer Paper.  Some ghost greet you when book is opened: there are two pages in the book with these ghosts. Note all pages are 3" x 3".

A strip of running punched mice at the bottom of this page: there are two pages in the book using these papers and punched strip of mice. All the punches used in this book are from EK Success Martha Stewart.

The center of the book has both a punch dripping blood and bat fence: photos can be slipped behind the fence.

Disney Maleficent Scrapbook Page

This is a 8x8 two page scrap book page.  The page base is using Recollections Black card stock.  Then there are 2 mats: the bottom mat is using Recollection Purple card stock, top mat is Anna Griffin acetate with black print. I love this acetate printed sheet because any color can be used behind it to customize the page. 

Here is the (cute?) Maleficent character.  She was a FREE SVG cut file from SVGcutting/Jaded Blossom when they had their Villains Blog Hop back in November 2013. I love her look. Again, I cut her using my Silhouette.

On the page is a strip of Recollections Metallic Black card stock. The crow on the branch against the Moon backdrop was a daily FREE SVG cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables.

This Spindle and page title is one of the PPBN (A SVG company) monthly club images. I did a print and cut using my Silhouette. On the bottom of the page is a strip of Recollections Metallic Black card stock.

Coventry Garden Font used for the scrap book page title: Maleficent. Dark Grey bottom mat, then a Black mat, top mat is white. This title was made using my Silhouette.

Chuckles Happy Birthday Card

This card is for my younger brother - it is using a Yumi and Fumi Summer Chuckles Stamp.  I had purchased this stamp a while back in preparation for my Brother's milestone 50th birthday.  I'm not sure if this stamp is still available or not from Yumi and Fumi. Embellishment pieces (Happy Birthday Banner and Banner underneath) are from My Minds Eye hip-hooray Collection. Gold card stock used for the card base is from DCWV. Echo Park Totally Teal Teal Chevron paper used for the card front mat.

Here's a closer look at Chuckles. Copic colors used: E000, E00, E11, W1, W3, W6, B04, YR23. YR24, YR31. Color and cut him out, then pop with foam squares.

Cut a window out of a rectangle, add a small sheet of acetate, pop with foam squares to have some sprinkles inside for shaking. The sprinkles are made by using the dies from Papertrey Ink's Sparkle and Shine bundle.  I love how these sprinkles can be customized to the card color. Twine is used to 'wrap" the faux package.

Panda Accordion Birthday Card

A birthday card for someone who loves Pandas.  The card style is using Elizabeth Crafts Accordion Circle Card die. Paper is from Happy Birthday DCWV Birthday Wishes 6x6 paper pack, Doodlebug Sugar Shoppe Birthday Girl.  Embellishment cupcakes are Doodlebug Icon Mini Cupcakes.  Additional randomly placed embellishments are from EK Success Jolees Dimensional Birthday Candles.  Circle mat is using Spellbinders Lacey Circles. The center section is Tessler Crafts Happy Birthday circle die. The panda is from the Cricut Cartridge Create a Critter.  Card size folded is 4-3/4" x 4-3/4".

Center Medallion has both English and Asian Characters for the birthday wish. The 3" white circle mat behind the die is cut using my Silhouette.  Pop it up with foam squares n it is nice!

Wink of Stella Clear is used on the tops of the cupcakes as well as around the circle opening and the edge of the circle (so sorry it does not show up in the photos at all).  The flowers are a small punch from Stampin-Up on the panda with Wink of Stella Clear on the center.  The Lacey Circle mat and Cricut Panda is popped with foam squares.
