Cake Week: Bunny Cake

added comments:
sorry to see some errors in spelling and .......corrections made!
This week will be SWEET! I am planning a whole week of cakes using the Big Shot 3-D Sizzix Pop-up Cake die. This die will be available now for purchase. These posted won't be pop ups, they will be free standing. I'll be also creating cards that really fold up so the cake does pop up later. Here's the Punch Bunny posted as a card on 4/1/09 made into a cake.

The ears sit on the top of the cake. The first layer from the top, is the bunny's face. The second layer is the feet. The bottom layer is "grass". The grass is 1-1/4" high, then cutting 1/16" apart, 3/8" deep. After cutting, roll the cut part over a pencil or pen to achieve the look in the photo. The scallop base of the cake is the Big Shot Scallop Circle. The flowers are randomly placed, attached using Tombow glue.

Above is a close-up of the Punch Bunny

Above is side view of the cake.
