Bird Song Shutter Style Birthday card

I had received this card from a dear friend who knows I love the Graphic 45 Bird Song paper collection (which has been retired for a couple years now).   I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this project. Card base is using Kraft paper.  This is the front with a metal tasseled embellishment. My favorite Shanghai Girl in red is on the card front.
Card opened: here you can see the Kraft paper base with the Bird Song decorative elements on the "shutter".

Right side details of card: The Happy Birthday medallion is cut using gold card stock.

Piano Birthday Card

This birthday card is a cut file made using the Silhouette Piano Shaped Card from their on line store.  It was very quick to make. A2 size.  Add a little red adhesive rhinestone for the final touch to this card.

Use the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder for the piano top:
Card inside: Got the Happy Birthday song from the Internet and printed out a few sections. Red card stock mat frames the song.

98th Asian Birthday card

How many people do you know turn 98?  We know one - what a milestone that is to celebrate quite an achievement.  I made this special card using the die from Ellentina Cutting Die #TSD009 from Tessler Crafts found here.  Card base is Black. Decorative paper is Best Creations collection (retired).  Finished card size is 6" x 6".
A 3"Ivory card stock mat if behind the die:
The decorative corners are a Sizzix die called Architectural Accents Set.
 Card inside:
A closer look inside of the card.  Stamp is Hero Arts Little Clings Today and Always stamp. The circle and mat is the same size as the front: 3" diameter and a 3-1/4" black card stock mat using a Spellbinder Large Circle die.  98th is cut using my Silhouette Ariel font.
And, a special envelope with initials made using the We R Memory Keepers Enveloper: Initials made using the Sizzix Alphabet die.
Envelope back: sealed with a 1" circle punched paper Asian character from the paper.  Mat is a 1-1/4" circle punch.

Old Man Party Birthday Card

This is a A2 birthday card for a long time friend. This was a perfect card good for many people.  It is whimsical but sends a good message, too.  The Old Man Party is a SVG cut file from SVGcutting found here. Ovals are using Spellbinders Large Oval dies. Pattern paper is from a DCWV photo mat stack.  Of course, basic black card stock for the base is typical along with a blue card stock mat. Use a black pen to do some "hand stitching" around the mats for just a little texture.
A closer look at the Old Man here: He is popped with foam squares. A white gel pen is used to put some dots on the hat.  The white gel pen is also used on his pant and slippers for some stitching, too.  His nose is popped with foam squares. Use a little brown ink to sponge around his shirt.
Card inside: double mat of blue and white card stock.  Stamps are from Papertrey Ink Good Times collection  found here.

Faith the Fairy Birthday Card

My Grand Niece turned 15 this year (that's almost 16!) and no more cutesy cards for her.  Pink and brown are the colors used for this theme.  This card is using Stampingbella's Uptown Girl Faith the Fairy stamp which is a bit more "grown up" for her.  The white card stock mat is using Spellbinder's Label Fourteen die popped with foam squares.  Decorative paper from my stash.  Stampin-Up Scallop Trim Boarder punch used on the strip.  Final touch is a white sheer organdy ribbon with some feminine paper flowers. Finished card size 5" x 7".
Copic colors used to color her hair: W2, W4, W6, W8. Her crown is Y17 with Clear Wink of Stella.  Skin is E000, E00, E11, R20.  Clear Wink of Stella used on the diamond wand, too. Dress is paper pieced.
The "15" is cut using my Silhouette Ariel Font which sits on a layered Silhouette Nested Banner popped with foam squares: cut file found in their library.  See the brown card stock embossing using Lifestyle Crafts Twirl embossing folder?
Love these paper flowers and rolled wire stems.
Card inside: love the mat which was part of the decorative paper.  Cupcake is a cut out in the corner.
