Gable Long Life Favors

This is a REALLY quick favor that was made to celebrate a 95th Birthday - can you just imagine 95 years old?  It is quite a milestone.  35 gable boxes were cut out using SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot computer program) and my Silhouette Machine as the cutter. These gable boxes came together with just one area that needed sticky tape. Now that is what I call fast! The image on the side of the box is a SVG cut file from Scrappedlives.nl which can be found here. Joann Fabric Red card stock, Michael's basic black card stock and Gold card stock from Kelly Papers used. Finished box size is 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1-3/4".
Here's the tag up close: The tag is a SVGcut file (so it can be size perfectly)  1" punch, and 1-1/8" punch used. Tie with a gold cord.

The flip side of the tag was printed, then punched.
I found these Long Life Kanji stickers in my stash and they worked out well for this project.
Open the box to reveal: CHOCOLATES!!!! Of course.................

If you ever have gone to Honolulu, Hawaii, you must have heard of this craft store called CUTE STUFF  2600 S. King St., #204 Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a cute place for some CUTE STUFF....no puns intended. The owner is Lianne and she creates the most fun card kits. This is one of them. It's called a Folding Window card by Adele. You will need to get your hands on one of these kits for the detailed step by step color and measurement instructions (included in ALL her card kits).  The original stamped flower images used in the card inside is swapped using the small Dandelion Designs cling stamps (SC-1, SC-2SC-3, SC-6) with a small oval punch - which can also be purchased from Cute Stuff. Finished card size: 4" x 4". Don't you just love the punched lace edge on each side of the card?
Open the card to reveal a message: Just me...stopping by to say hi!!! Note, the punched heart is suspended using embroidery floss.
Flip the punched heart to reveal the 2nd message: hi................

Update 9-16-2012: the Dress Form paper clips are from Maya Road  and can be found at your local scrapbook craft store or here. Maya Road also makes Hanger paper clips, too.

Here's a little matchbox dressed up with of course, a dress form! Paper used for this project: Graphic 45 paper, Recollections Black, Recollection Kraft. I love that Maya Road Mini Yardstick, those Vintage buttons, and the SVG Cut file for Dress Form from SVGcuts.com. The matchbox is a SU Matchbox die. The finished size is 2" x 2-3/4".  Another view:
Inside the box are metal dress form clips with red card stock used to line the bottom!
