Princess Birthday Bitty Book

Yup - Yet another Bitty Album.........already? I can't help it, I love making them. My Grand Niece will Love to get the pictures in this. See the B'day card next to the album? The card was posted on 9/7/2011. It is perfectly co-ordinated, for sure................Pink, Pink, Pink!!!!

Vellum clouds are hand cut, adhered, stardust stickles added. See the subtle clouds behind the castle?

I just love those castle and crown charms and the customized name charm, too

The large Castle embellishment fits on the front and is a shaker with magic flakes. The metal stars are from Crate & Barrel (one of those 75% off sale items after Christmas)

The inside cover is stamped with, of course "Princess" - she even has a little bling in her crown which is colored using Silver Smooch. The little princess was colored using Copics: E21, R20, W5, RV02, RV06, 110 Black.

Birthday Princess Card

Here's a really cute b'day card I recently made for my Grand Niece. I loved using the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch for the boarder. It was also used on the inside, too

The "Happy Birthday" was cut out @1-14" using my Cricut Beyond Birthday

Here's the Crown and the scepter: The Brushed Silver crown is cut using SCAL (Sure Cuts a Lot) free crown on line. The scepter is a SU Star punch.

Slowly open the card:

To reveal a fabulous scene: Both inside edges are punched using the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch. The castle is popping up and also a tiny Princess. The Princess is colored using Copic markers (Colors used are E21, R20, W5, RV02, RV06, 110 Black)

The castle: cut using SCAL (Sure Cuts a Lot) from mytimetocraft.com - it was a free cut file. Then it was embossed using the Tiny Mosaic embossing folder.

And, here is the little Princess - she has a metal star and also adhesive bling on her silver smooched crown.

Her name was cut using the SCAL program (Sure Cuts a Lot) in SU Brushed Silver and one of my fonts: Arial.

The "4" was cut using the Paper Trey inc. numbers die.

Disney Vacation Bitty Book

OOOPs, just heard this posting didn't go through cyber space inter netting............so let me try re-posting this today..........cross my fingers and hope it works...........

Isn't my Niece the lucky one........well, maybe. She had decided to take her girls to Disneyland this Summer and what better way to capture those "magical moments" than having a gift of a Bitty Book. I've made a couple previously and this one is quite similar. (see recently previously posted album on 6/3/2011 Summer Disney Vacation Bitty Album). Again note: the Bitty Book albums have been retired for a couple years so they are no longer available for purchase.

The front cover with those dimensional stickers fit perfectly. The Ovals were made using my SCAL (sure cuts a lot) program...am glad it also worked on card stock vellum, too. The year, adhered on top of the vellum, was made using the Cricut Calendar cartridge by Provo craft

I love those punched Mickey Mouse ears in a variety of colors for charms:

Album front cover: a simple stamped sentiment.

Inside front cover: Don't you just love those personalized Mouse ears? A white gel pen was used. The DSP is from a clearance bin - I think it was .20/sheet - it worked so well with the Mouse cover paper. And, yes, those start stickers came in really handy, too.

Hawaiian Vacation Bitty Book

So the project I will showcase after my loooong vacation? A bitty book - you know I love making them................

Going on a Hawaiian vacation? No - I didn't go but my Niece did so I gave her her very own special vacation bitty album keepsake. I love how it turned out. She liked it, too. Note these Bitty Books, I have been making and posting have been retired from SU for a couple years now. I have a few to make so I have been slowly using them up........................I absolutely love them (as you can tell) and they make great gifts!

Ahhhhh...........Paradise popped with dimensionals on top of the hot summer sun (sponged with SU More Mustard)

The larger chair is for the album front. It is sponged with SU Chocolate Chip and popped with dimensionals in the bottom right front.

A closer view of the palm tree (hey, the photo is out of focus....ooops):

The year "2011" (made with the Calendar Cricut Cartridge)is adhered on top of a oval clear acetate. The waves are behind the acetate. Vacation is popped with dimensionals.

And, a close-up of the charms strung with 1/4" wide white grosgrain ribbon made with white card stock in between so the front and back are the same.

Using SU Decorative Label Punch, trim off top and bottom after stamping using SU Pink passion ink.

Album inside with photo protectors removed: I love the smaller chair on the front inside and the row of flip flops across the front and back. The sand castle on the back inside cover is sponged with SU Chocolate Chip ink

Here's how the embellishment was positioned on the Cricut to cut:

After "cutting" using the Cricut: (Note the oval is cut in Acetate so it does not show).

More embellishments made from the Life's a Beach Cricut Cart: X+Charms, Chair, palm Tree, Flip Flop boarder, and Sand Castle. Hmmm.....I only used 1 large chair and 1 smaller chair.
