Here is the card with the belly band which was a strip on the Tranquility G45 Sheet. The Japanese Woman is a Chipboard tag from the Bird Song Tags 1 collection. Paper is called Harmony:
Original plan was to hang a tag but it looked too good to punch a hole into it......it is simply slipped behind the chipboard. Paper is SU Natural's Ivory with cut out umbrellas from the G45 Bird Song Endless Spring sheet: matted on Tranquility sheet. Stamped image is an old favorite - not sure where I got this one.......
A closer look: crumpled rayon ribbon bow attached using a mini glue dot:
Remove the belly band:
To reveal an Asian image on the left side panel:
Entire card opened:
Right side panel:
Center panel with Small calendar:
Back of card: is also from G45 papers Jasmine Dream sheet
Here's how the umbrella's were added to the panels: Cut the frame using the G45 Tranquility sheet. Cut out Asian Girl from the G45 Jasmine dream sheet. Cut Umbrella from the G45 Endless Spring sheet.
Use a Craft knife to cut along the hair line to slip the umbrella BEHIND woman.
See how it all fits after trimming the right inside panel?
This was a cool idea................I was so inspired by many of the videos from Anne's Paper Creations (her blog: here) with all her tricks and clever ways to use paper. You may want to sit down and visit with her for a while as her projects are just out of this world using the Bird Song paper collection.
très très joli
