Dandelion Sakura Frame

I need to make good use of the calendars I got last year. This simple and quick project worked out great. The Dandelion Designs (her blog) MC-38 Sakura Frame is stamped using Memento Black ink, Copic pen details below. It finished 4-1/4" x 5" so it can be easily placed in an envelope for mailing.  The white background is a 2-1/2" Scallop Circle Marvy Punch. The flourish is a FREE SVG cut file from SVGcuts.com found here. A crystal Jelly roll pen used to "dot" the flourish - unfortunately, it doesn't show up in the photo. The pink organdy ribbon gives a soft finished touch.
And the back:
Copic colors used: E21, R20, G21, G99, RV10, R83, RV04, W3, W5, W7, W8
Paper used: Neenah White, Recollections Pink and Brown, my stash of Sakura Flower Designer Paper exclusively from Scrap-n-Stamp (I believe they no longer have a brick and mortar store).
After assembling the base, the flourish is applied.  Note adhesive is only on the bottom half of the flourish for a more dimensional effect.  The stamped and cut Dandelion image has pop up dimensionals.

Measurements for the Calendar holder (really easy):
  • (1) 3-1/4" x 11" pattern paper
  • score on the 11" side (from left to right) 1/2", 1-1/2", 2-1/2", 6-3/4"
  • apply adhesive on the 1/2" strip.

This is a really quick and simple project that can be used for many other occasions.  Hope you enjoyed it.  Happy crafting!!!!
