I am a Guest

This is something new for me. I attended my first Stamp Event as a guest and wanted to share with you what was made. This event was through a fellow Demonstrator Gina Taylor (www.ginataylor.blogspot.com) near by San Francisco, California. She has this event the first Thursday of every month. So if you are in her neighborhood: Martinez, California - do give her a jingle (you can contact her at: stampingina@comcast.net) and have some fun!!!! We made 3 projects: a 3x3 note card and a milk carton (with that fabulous Sending Love DSP). I love the card stock vellum used to back the Flowers and leaves (from the Birds and Blooms Sizzlit die).

The WOW Project of the night: A Candy tote Here's the front of it which is decorated with the special SU Exclusive Scallop Envelope Die and flowers from the Bird with Leaves and Flower Big Shot Die. Don't forget the Swirls and Scribbles sizzlits die. Sparkle with Rhinestone Brads and Filigree Brad. The "i Love U" stamp is from A Happy Heart stamp set. Finished project size is: 5" x 1-1/2" x 7"

Here's a side view:

When the front cover is opened, 3 jars filled with candy: jelly beans, candy corn, and gummy fish. The bottom edge of the candy strap is using the new Scallop Trim Boarder offered from salebration.

As a first time attendee to Gina's event, I got a special present: a Purse post-it note holder. Isn't it cute and practical? Finished size is 4" 4" x 3/8"

Here is the purse opened:

I had a great time at Gina's event and will plan to visit her again in the future. It was great fun to exchange and share ideas with Gina. She has a great variety of projects.
Thank you for stopping by today to catch up with me..............HUGS!

  3. Too cute! Do you know where she got the bottles that hold the candy. Any chance of getting a tutorial for that project, as well as for the Post It holder?
