House Shadow Box

Here's a house shaped shadowbox card....the measurements for this shadowbox card is slightly different from the previous ones posted. This so reminds me of the SU Christmas Designer Series paper even though I hadn't used any here. The subtle small dots from the Big Shot Exclusive Texture Plate #1 is just the right touch. Finished card size: 4-1/4" x 4-1/2" x 1". When collapsed, this will fit into a A2 size envelope.

Card front: finished off with a poinsettia on 1-1/4" Circle Punched Very Vanilla, popped with a dimensional on 1-1/4" Circle Punched Brown Suede. For this Shadowbox, the ribbon is wrapped around the entire card.
Those poinsettias: are from the Boho Blossoms punch (the medium size flower). The centers of the poinsettia are from the small punch in the Crop-o-dile. They are popped with dimensions on to the back panel and also the middle panel.

Top view:

Measurements for this shadowbox:
(1) 6-1/2 x 3-1/2 for Front, on 6-1/2 side: score 1" right and left side
(1) 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" for Middle panel, on the 5-1/2" side: score 1/2" right and left side
(1) 6-1/2" x 3-1/2" for Back panel, on the 6-1/2" side: score 1" right and left side
(1) 1-1/2" c 4-1/2" for roof
The front panel is using the 1-3/4" Circle Punch.
The middle Panel is using the 1-1/2" Circle Punch:

Roof: Panel is cut 1-1/2" wide, after using the scallop punch, roof should be finished 1-1/4" wide. Mark 1/2" from the scallop edge, then trim off 1/14" to "o" to create the roof angle.
Tip: place cut roof CS into Petals-a-Plenty impression folder before using scallop punch.

Using the middle panel as a template: lightly mark with a pencil the top and bottom of the punched center circle to ensure stamped image will be correctly centered.

Use the Stampin' Write Pens and Stamp-a-mah-jig to position the message:

For the Poinsettias: Use the Boho Blossoms medium size flower and the Crop-o-dile small punch for the centers (in Crushed Curry CS) - Adhere using Tombow or 2 way Glue Pen.

Position the completed Poinsettias on the Back and Middle panels. They were popped with dimensionals.
Complete shadowbox part of the card. Last step is to adhere roof - there is a 1/2" overlap on the top edge. The height of the card should not exceed 4-1/4".
Supplies:
  • Stamps: Sweet Seasons
