Dandelion Shoji Screen Card

OK - I have been making some cards here and there................

Have you seen them? They are all over the Internet................what? Why, of course, those Dandelion Cling stamps!!!! These stamps are made exclusively in Hawaii. They are so cool and it is so exciting to have received them. I made these a couple weeks back and am very behind in posting...........Love the set because Jean (the owner of Dandelion) includes a template for the project shown here - now how cool is that and who else would do that but Jean!!!! She's the best!!!! So, of course, I added Dandelion to my side bar and CASE her project - just click on it and you can see so much other stamps she offers. The other generous gesture is that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the friends stamp set will be donated to the recovery efforts in Japan - way to go, Jean!!!! So how can you pass this set up? No way.....................she even sent me a sample card.........gads, is this gal the coolest or what?

So here is the project using the colors I selected:

The shoji screen doors are closed.....................

Slowly slide the screen to the left to reveal one of the "friends"

Slide the screen all the way to the left to see both "friends" The flowers are stamped with SU So saffron while "friends" is stamped with SU Old Olive ink. The girls are stamped and colored with Copics, cut and adhered to the Washi paper. Use whatever Washi on hand The one shown is from a local Japanese store (Daiso). Add the Stardust Stickles on the flower centers and hair bow.

So how does that screen work? Well, ya gotta get the set and maybe, just maybe, you will come to know it just takes some foam tape at each end to provide the slide..............

Here are the pieces of the project:
I did remember to take a photo of it but forgot to take photos of the assembly part:

(2) 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" CS Vellum

(2) Screens Black CS (template provided by Dandelion)
