Look at this cute gift I made for my Grand Niece: Taylor - she is turning 2 and it is about time I finished this project before she becomes a teenager! I had it for a while (2 years) and pushed myself to finally finish it! Here it is "rolled up".
Here it is unrolled: it's a quilt. Finished size is 54-1/2" x 41-1/2" and is filled with 100% Polyester needle punched light loft batting.......yummy soft! It is machine stitched around each Baby with a surprise Baby in the center back of the quilt. It's not the warmest quilt but it is the cutest quilt!
Once I got started on this quilt - it went quickly - getting started is half the battle. The printed fabric is called "Peek-a-Boo" by Amy Bradley Designs for Moda (http://www.modafabrics.com/). I purchased this fabric in a fabric shop in San Mateo a few years ago. Both printed and solid fabric is pre-washed for minimal shrinkage after use by Taylor. Am glad I can finally hand this project to Taylor to enjoy.
Thank you for visiting today.............XOXO

This is so adorable! Taylor will love it! I know that the quilt my friend made for my son is one of the things I treasure most. You are multi-talented :)
Wow, Patti...you are so talented in the needle arts, too! Love, love, love the fabrics you used. The baby faces are so simple, colorful, and cute.
