Here's a closer look at the addition to the original sand castle: added Monstera leaf banner with the newly wed's surname clipped on the jute rope with mini wooden clothes pins. The Monstera Leaf was a cut file from the Silhouette on line store. The file needed to be slightly changed but easily to do using the Silhouette program. Surname is gold card stock from my stash, cut using the Silhouette, Sweet Pea font (a free downloadable font). The starfish is embossed using Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles embossing folder. The Shell is embossed using Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. Vellum card stock used to cover the Castle windows.
The Bride Mermaid has brownish hair, Gold embossed fins (Couture Collections Rainbow Wave embossing folder). Use a Sakura Black gel pen to dot the eyes. Adhesive flat back pearl on top of the leaves in her hair.
The Groom Merman has reddish hair, Gold embossed fins (Couture Collections Rainbow Wave embossing folder). Use a Sakura Black gel pen to dot the eyes. A multi green color lei is embellished on him. Top of the sand castle: the peak has a variety of adhesive flat back pearls. The flag is computer generated using free downloadable Sweet Pea font.
Here's a closer look at the lid: The waves are a free SVG cut file from SVG Cuts. Blue pearl paper is from my stash
Palm trees flank each side of the sand castle. Replacing the paper clip with small magnets (one of the palm tree and the opposite one of the inside back of the castle top), trees were able to stand on their own. Palm tree is a SVG cut file from Miss Kate Cutables Beach Scene collection. Palm tree trunk is embossed using Stampin-Up Squared Lattice embossing folder. Popped Coconuts are embossed using Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles embossing folder. Entire tree is inked using brown ink on the edges.
Sand Castle back: opening for tea light and opening for slipping envelopes into box.
