LLC Retreat Winter Wishes Marci Gingerbread House

LLC Retreat, Project #27
This LAST and final project from the La-la Land Retreat - pretty amazing to have 27 projects at one retreat, eh?  Pretty inspiring all the way around and such pleasure to join in the fun a a few days.  Every year, La-la Land Crafts has this wonderful retreat and one would be very lucky to join in the fun, make new friends, and learn so many new techniques from such great teachers.  There are only a few spots left for the November 2015 La-la Land Palooza Retreat so sign up soon!!!!

This  final project was designed by Debbie Pamment (her blog here). Can you believe she took the Bird House paperboard 3D Project Kit and made it into a wonderful holiday yummy house. These photos are of the original sample since it is now mid February and I decided not to finish my house:
House at another angle:
Those decorative straws are cut down to size - add a decorative red shiny ball to the top. Wrap both the icicles and fence around the base.
You can see the Snowflake Banner and the decorated wreath behind Winter Wishes Marci:
Die cut 2 white Christmas Trees, fold one tree in half, add Red Stickles:
Top of the roof: some Poinsettias and also "candies" peppermints:
Side of the roof: Layers of "candied" peppermints and Star Dust Stickles icicles.
Back of the house:
Since I did not completely finish my house, I am able to show some of the pieces before assembly. Winter Wishes Marci Copic color information supplied at the retreat (thank goodness)
The Bird House and base for the project are assembled along with the Icicles and Fence.
And, here are more "parts" for the Gingerbread House.
Here are all the roof layers: edges are sponge with brown ink prior to assembly:
OK - can you believe this is the final posting and last project of the 2nd annual La-la Land Retreat. Wow - can you believe all these projects have been now posted.  And, I finished them all way back in 2014 except for this house.  These projects represent fond memories and friendships made at this retreat, too.
