Asian Cork Crane Card

What a delight to receive this wonderful card from my blog friend Jan -she has a blog here.  This A2 size card is so cool. Background stamped using Judikins #33423 Chinese Clouds using light blue ink, then edged with blue metallic chisel pen (of course, how suble and wonderful is that?). The metallic pen makes such a fine faux mat. More details below:
Like the close-up of this Bamboo? It is a die from Joy Crafts  (die #60020230) using Green "silk" paper, then highlighted with shades of Copic markers. The crane is a die  called Oriental Crane Die (set #TL-ACD150) made by Tattered Lace cut in thin cork paper. Crane is popped up with foam squares.  Add a small adhesive blue rhinestone for the eye and it is perfect!
Water is using Hanko Cloud Die (#DD004) found here which is popped up found here using metallic paper and edged with blue metallic chisel pen. I love this look.
Card inside:
Love this detail on the inside: a small cork flourish
Thank you for stopping by today - try some die cutting using thin cork sheets. The results are pretty nice. Thank you, Jan for always being such an inspiration.
