July 4th Celebration Top Hats

For the July 4th Celebration, My Scrap Chick had this top hat that was so cool. The SVG cut file can be found here. I had to make it to fill with some treats.................I made no changes from the original file...........it was quick and easy using my Silhouette to cut these top hats.  Finish the top hat with 5/8" white organdy ribbon around the brim. Finished project size is 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".
The message is computer generated, then it is die cut using the Stampin-Up Label Punch.  I added some Gold around the outside edge of the label using the Krylon Gold Pen. Then it is popped with a foam square, attached to the hat.
Pull off the lid (see the thumb pull on the side of the hats?).
Look at all the candy treats this top hat holds........and don't forget that "popper" for a "bang" of a time!
And, on the bottom of the hat is a personal note about this hat - well, it is "hand made".............I found this stamp many years ago and it was a perfect finish for this project.
Thank you for stopping by and hoped you all had a great long restful weekend celebrating with family or friends!
