This is one of the recent releases from Dandelion Stamps SC-10 Peony. There is also a larger size Peony image available as part of a large cling stamp set (CL-16 Flower Girls Set). You can find the Dandelion blog here. They are cute and happy images. Stampin-Up So Saffron card stock used for the base. Bottom edge punch is from EK Success. A little pink grosgrain ribbon finishes off this card.
Stamp and trim image using Copic 21, G24, G28, E21, R20, Y18, W4, W5, W7, W10, V000, R81. Then pop with foam squares in recessed window."Happy Birthday" is from Starform Stickers:
To make this card: Start off with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of card stock. Score along the 8-1/2" side @4", 4-1/4", then punch the right side edge. You will need the 1/2" to allow for the height of the recess in the window. After punching the bottom edge, adhere Washi paper to the card stock, position the recessed window die (note: die is shown face up, when cutting - it should be face down to cut the window). Die is from Art Gone Wild CCD-007 Small Inset. Window opening is 1-3/4" x 2-1/8".
After the die has cut the opening, use a bone folder to crease open the window and recess area.Underside of the card should look like this:
Apply sticky tape, trim off excess. Use a 2-1/4" x 2-5/8" piece of card stock to cover opening.
Finished window should now look like this.
Now that was really easy.......................try one by using the die or making the recessed opening yourself.
Woow, that looks soo great. I will try it :-)

So pretty! Just love that patterned paper...is that from the Kimono collection. I'll bet Jean was just amazed to see what magic you've created with her adorable new stamp line! Hey, there's a die to make those recessed windows? How cool!
