Cherry Blossom Clutch

The is a second clutch made from the limited time FREE cut file from SVGcuts.com. This clutch is part of a collection called Luxury Handbags which can be found here.  This is the clutch that was submitted to their site to be eligible for a free gift card - I hope I get it!!!! That would be cool, eh? Unfortunately, this promotion was only good until July 12th. I added a strong flat magnetic closure (from Basic Grey) between the Core-dinations Hawaiian Orchid card stock and the Core-dinations Merry card Stock.  Embossing folder used is from Cuttlebug's Asian collection. The Cherry Blossom cut file is FREE from SVGcuts.com and can be found here. The Butterfly is a die cut from Cheery Lynn Design - Exoctic Butterfly Small using card stock Vellum. Finished clutch size is 7-1/4" x 4-1/2" x 2-1/2".
Here's a close-up of the handle which is attached using brads on each side so it can easily be swung out of the way to open the front flap.  The handle is trimmed with Core-dinations Hawaiian Orchid canvas textured card stock. A vellum die cut Butterfly adorned with Diamond Stickles randomly attached amongst the cherry blossom branch.
Front flap: Note the cherry blossoms have been touched with Cherry ink using a dauber and rolled using a metal ball to curl and shape the flowers.  The centers of the cherry blossoms are "dotted" with Jelly Roll Clear Star pen. Then randomly attached on the branch. Branch is cut from brown Recollection card stock.
Front corner of the clutch: All the edges of the pink card stock and dark red card stock are sponged using brown ink.
Clutch back:
Thank you for visiting today and may it inspire you to make a clutch or two.
