One of the many prizes was this coffin treat made by Sharon - she did a great job duplicating it from the main Catalog (page 26).
Another prize: This tin made by Carol K contains stamped and punched images from the Perfect Punches stamp set. The DSP is Greenhouse Gala. This is a great hostess gift idea!!!
Demonstrator name unknown......so sorry about that.
Unknown Demonstrator......love those tiny adhesive pearls.........
Denise had these great bookmarks we made using the new colors and using the new ribbon and brad, too:
This Top Note box was created by Lisa: I did not assemble my shoebox so I can transfer it home safely. I ended up sponging the edges and water coloring in the flowers. Added a stamped bird image, too.
Carol K made this really cute card using the new Glass Glitter and Jolly Old Saint Nick stamp set soon to also be available in September Holiday Mini. Love the brad and punched flower detail along with distressed edge on the Kraft CS.
Unknown Demonstrator: love this quick card.........
Unknown Demonstrator - love this card - colors are subtle and soft
Joanne B made this really cute card: the "world" has glitter and Versamark ink used on Kraft (Crumb Cake) CS with dazzling diamonds berries........I love the Cherry Cobbler scallop bottom.
Yay - Another prize! This was my "pink ticket" prize: it's a collapsible garbage from convention!
So this is only half of the cards, prizes and fun things from the shoebox...........stay tuned tom for more..............thanks for stopping by today.
Wow!
ReplyDeleteSo many treasures! All so beautiful! Love them! I have never been to a shoebox swap - how does it work?
Wishing you a great day today!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane
Hey Barb,
ReplyDeleteWished you lived closer so you, too can aprticipate in this event. There were 24 fellow Demonstrators who prepared 24 designed cards or 3D projects for us to make. We each provided a sample of the card, the hostess got a finished card and the rest was a frenzy for us all to complete the 23 others. It was quite a frenzy with so many participants....but sitll so much fun.
have a great day,
Patti
Thank you sharing all these great cards and projects...please tell me more about how a shoebox swap event works. Think I might want to do one with the Cricut club one day.
ReplyDeleteHi Patti,
ReplyDeleteThe blue "Just Believe" card was by Cheryl C (my friend and down-line). Wasn't it a fun event! I'm glad you were there because you always create such great projects! Will you be at Tami's on the 28th?
P.S. Eunice, I was one of the participants in the Shoebox Swap and I've held one for my stamp club. To hold an event like this, have all the attendees prep everything needed to make their card/3-D item and put it in a "shoebox". They also need to have a sample of what to make. You need to let the participants know how many are coming so they can prep enough supplies. Everyone puts their boxes on a table. Then everyone goes around the room making each others cards. They're a lot of fun. Best of luck to you.
