The type of closure chosen is using 5/8" wide Black grosgrain tucked underneath the front DSP. There is a magnetic closure concealed in the grosgrain and the other side of the magnet is concealed in between the 2 layers paper. The fan embellishment is perfect on top of the grosgrain as the final touch. I "shored up" the sides by using Stampin' Up's Modern Label punch - love the shape for this project.

ReplyDeleteWow, Patti, you really inspire me. I got the Paris kit and still didn't put it together yet. Your purse is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Patti!
ReplyDeleteI hate to repeat the above, but WOW, WOW and WOW! This must have taken you all weekend! I love all of Laura's ideas, especially this project! She will be proud! :<)
Wishing you a great week!

Lathy: the paris kit is way cool........I really wanted to create an Asian one so instructions were fine for me! Easy to make and love the updated enclosed sides and spine construction Laura did. To complete this album, it doesn't take much time if you have all the papers and embellishments handy. It took me longer to decide on the paper itself than to make it!!! Set aside a couple hours and you will see how fast and easy it is to complete.....laura's instructions are very clear!
ReplyDeleteWow, Patti, this is very pretty! Where did you get the Asian papers from?
