I had a great weekend - how about you? Met with some gal pals and we exchanged punch pages.........LOOK at some of these great additions! I made this Dim Sum (Chinese appetizers) Basket scene. The Sizzix Texture plate technique used for the "faux bamboo" look: run the Creamy Caramel ink on the texture plate, apply paper and put through the Bog Shot. Using stamping daubers to sponge the pieces with Creamy Caramel ink was the finishing touch. All small pieces were applied using 2 way glue pen.
Closer view of the finished "scene":
Punches needed:
Our Hostess, Carol provided us a uplifting "Make & Take". I chose to stamp a message later. This is a great way to use punches and also lots of scraps! Circle punch sizes: 1-3/8", 1", 1/2". Stems are 1/4" wide. Leaves are from the Birds & Blooms 4 pack Sizzlit dies.
Our Hostess, Carol made this beautiful Punch Page (sorry, girls - she doesn't have a blog): LOVE her sponging using the daubers. Colors used are Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, Regal Rose, and Rose Red. This is a perfect flower to be used for the Island Oasis DSP in the upcoming Summer Mini!!! Great job!!!! (Clap-clap)
And here is a closer view of the flower:
Maya made this cute page with Flip flops and flowers - again, a great addition to the upcoming Island Oasis DSP in the upcoming Summer Mini.
Teri made this Boy/Girl Sheep - light sponging on the body and dot impression plate used.
Mary made this Happy Hippo punch page:
Here's another sheep punch page. Winnie made this page.
Sharon made this owl - perfect for Graduation:
